I just finished Fallout 3 yesterday. While I wasn't pleased with its ending (a short narration of how each town turned out would have been great), I can put it behind me and look forward to what else Bethesda can bring to the series. One of the big caveats I had with the story was how the Super-Mutants were back and the Enclave were back. We already
dealt with these guys. I feel that seeing a whole new threat would have been best and I hope that Bethesda was just trying to cater to the old fans' nostalgia and show that they're up to the task of commanding the Fallout franchise, not that they're afraid to take any risks because I sure don't want to see the same enemies just being rendered into a new engine every 3 or 4 years now. So, am I the only person who wouldn't mind seeing the Enclave buried beneath Raven Rock for good and the Super-Mutants neutered- I mean neutralized as they were meant to be? I mean, there's so many other potential big baddies that can threaten humanity in the post-apocalyptic wasteland. Communists? Robots? Aliens? HAROLD!?
