I'm doing the Laid to Rest -quest in Morthal, and my objective is to find Helgi after dark. I've been all over the town but there's no sign of her. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Western side of Morthal, there is a grave among the rocks with a coffin sticking out. If you talk to the Jarl about Helgi it supposedly activates a quest target.

well I'm at her coffin, and it says E to activate coffin....but nothing happens!!
I''ve tried waiting each hour late at night and nothing happens...quest bugged or am I doing something wrong??

For me it worked around midnight you should get attacked by a Vampire when u arrive at the coffin though unless this happens u cannot talk to her i guess.

yeah I killed the vampire but the ghost wasnt there, and then that guy came by saying it was his wife..and then i get another quest to investigate Alva....

not sure what I'm doing wrong. do i have to investigate alva first? the quest marker is clearly showing the childs coffin though...

ok so i killed Alva and got her journal, I'm about to present it to the Jarl but that quest marker over the childs coffin is still there!
I just can't get her to come out at night...i've waited and waited...

is there a possibility this is bugged since i went ahead of the quest line??

is there a console command that I can use to make her appear???

i can only tell you that for me, after defeating the vampire helgi autmatically starts a conversation when i get to the coffin.
But, when u you bring Alvas journal to the jarl the Quest should be finished and the questmarker will be gone.
I guess its just bugged for you that the conversation did not start.
