I'm also trying to find Lydia, though she's still alive and kicking in my game. I accidentally told her to 'wait' somewhere and only realized my error when a message popped up after a few days saying, "Your follower got tired of waiting and left." I checked my home, Dragonsreach and the last place I remembered seeing her, the College of Winterhold, but it would appear that she's vanished off the face of the earth.

A pile of ash outside the Hall of Attainment! Not that she attained much of herself?

Give me your address. I will go straight to your console and search for Lydia to the best of my ability. Don't worry OP, i will make sure Lydia is found for a proper burial.

I accidentally left my Lydia in the middle of an Imperial camp, doubtlessly they ravaged her, which is why I refuse to wed her (intensive roleplaying).

A few days later I found her in Dragonsreach. I refused to speak to her, however, for she had betrayed me by allowing the Imperials to get the best of her. Instead, I went and did some Battle-Born quests.

I don't need to bury her, she's already cremated, an urn would suffice?

Wow, you really have over reaching expectations with the radiant system?

Anybody know how to find her with the console? I am having the same problem where it says "Your follower got tired of waiting and left."

If that's the case, she's usually at Dragonsreach or (one of your) house(s).

"player.moveto a2c94" (without quotes, of course) should teleport you to her.
