If you would have just read my original post, you'd know that.

I fairly certain Todd has already said we start in a prison. I think it'd be tucked away in some cave or dungeon out in the wilderness this time.

Nope - we are heading to our execution... chained up walking in the snow (similar to Conan the barbarian beginning with the kids being lead to the prison camp)... there was a concept art pic floating around a few months ago, but I am unable to find it

What, http://i51.tinypic.com/25symba.jpg? He could be any Nord in the game binded by ropes and the only thing to indicate he is outside is his cold breath. No one ever said it was concept art of the tutorial and you have no reason to think that. Honestly, do you really believe I'd be unaware of these kinds of things?

Was it ever stated explicitly that the final game would have Riverwood as the first town you see? If not, we should consider the possibility that the articles are refering to the demo and not the final game.

It's not a public demo. It's what most of the magazines and sites that are reporting on Skyrim saw. And the first place they go in that demo is Riverwood, which was the cause of my uncertainty about this information.
