Where do I need to place my save files?

The path I gave you for My Documents is the Steam path, per user account for the system. Your initial path appears to be the G4WL path, which does not appear to be per user since it is in a central location (installation folder). Not sure on that one, but that's what makes sense to me. As long as you put the save files you want Steam to access in the C:\Users\\My Documents\My Games\Fallout3\Saves folder, you should be good to go when not logged into G4WL.

There are two separate GUIs where you could be logging into G4WL. One is through Start/WinLogo > All Programs > Games > Games for Windows Marketplace, and the other is through the Fallout 3 launcher (LIVE). Make sure auto login is turned off for both, if that is your desire.

Hmmm. I just noticed a folder for my G4WL account in that same folder. Luckily that is a different name for me. Maybe that is what confused you? Same user handles?

If there is a folder named with an account name that is your G4WL folder. Why there is a save path in your installation folder I have no idea?

Okay, I'll try this tomorrow, it's getting late over here, but I'll check back to the topic tomorrow and post my results.
