Where is Patch 1.2? ffs

Well Cry-Tom or Cry-Adam haven't been on today, which leads to assume that everyone at Crytek is having a weekend of no work. Which means they lied about releasing the patch this week. False advertisemant seems to be Crytek's speciality nowadays.

They said by the end of the week so technically they only have until 23:59 today/Saturday. Where's the patch!?

I have this feeling that Crytek doesnt give a damn about us the PC gamers.
That's probably because they're keeping the progress they're making to themselves, which gives the illusion that they're not doing anything at all, and to be honest they probably aren't.

False advertisemant seems to be Crytek's speciality nowadays.The patch was apparently released and then withdrawn. Which makes me suspect that there was a good reason for it not being released this week (eg. a last-minute, show-stopping bug was spotted). I'm not sure I'd call it lying or false advertising, and I'm fairly sure you'd be far more irritated if a patch had come out that had caused a serious problem.

That update/patch was the anti-cheat. Although, it wasn't that big of an update/patch so it was pretty much thrown in there when you started the game up and saw the CryEngine 3 logo before playing.....You know, the one before the Crytek logo.

Eyy, Crytek don't work on weekends so don't expect them to release it when they are not at the office to be able to fix stuff.

And on a sidenote, I'm very certain that they did not want to release it on 1st of April for several reasons, I'm pretty sure we will see a update next week.

1st - Crytek said that there will be an update at the end of the week
2nd you've got your update which is called Anti-Cheat update
3rd There was not any word about the patch

Well then this is very misleading...
29/3 - We've been working hard to resolve as many of the post-launch issues as possible including some improvements to our game security. These updates will be made available via automatic-download later this week.

Notice it says "including" which means not limited to. And "via automatic-download later this week."

Edit: Say what? Just re-read your post, the update was server side and nothing was downloaded when starting the game.
