Been playing Fallout 3 and New Vegas alot in the last few years. I am just coming back to Oblivion again, and I am laughing at myself. I was in a dark cave, and being on the 360, I keep and holding the B key to turn the light on. Nothing happening. I scratch my head and try again. Then later, I am walking in the wilderness and hitting the left trigger to Zoom in, and I can't.

Then it hits me, the control schemes and some other things are different. I am getting re use to Oblivion again, but I still find it funny I keep doing things that I normally did in New Vegas abd took for granted, that I can't do in Oblivion. So I am wondering, has anyone does this as well? Sometimes I am even trying to use V.A.T.S. as well and nothing is happening.

I don't play Fallout 3 but I do something similar after playing World of Warcraft. In WoW you press space bar to jump. When I switch from WoW to Oblivion I find myself continually hitting the space bar whenever I want my character to jump.

That's how I have my control scheme setup in Oblivion. I too use spacebar to jump in many first person view games that have jump. Why not just reconfigure your Oblivion controls to what you're commonly used?
