All of a sudden Morrowind wont open! When I try my CPU usage goes up to 30-33% like normal but the DOS window that used to flash into the upper left quarter of the the desktop prior to loading doesn't happen and the game never starts, but my CPU resources are at 33%. According to task manager the only CPU resources being used are one out of two threads of rundll32.exe *32. The idle one is 1,984 KB but the running one is almost 5,000 KB and using 25% of my CPU's resources yet my desktop is normal, nothing happems. It looks like it might be running in the back-ground but that doesn't help because I can't see it or rundll32.exe *32 has locked up.
I figured if I could un-install and re-install and it would help but I can't find the SAVE FILES!!! I don't want to start over again.
I followed ur forum abt the save files but all of my C:\user's\*\...Saved Games folders are empty. How can I backup my SAVES prior to un-installing? There is nothing in my C:\program files (x86)\morrowind folder that hints to a save either.
