Where to save SoundCommands SRC folder in Oblvion directory?

Post » Sat May 28, 2011 6:51 pm

I just downloaded SoundCommands 4.0 OBSE plugin, a necessary application in order to run the Better Music System 2.0 mod.

"What is it?

The aim of this plug-in is to add various commands that allow you to control the sound system in Oblivion. This is a modders resource and you are free to include this plug-in with your code. You need OBSE for this plug-in to work. "

There's a folder named SRC in SoundCommands, and unfortunatey the mod creator offers no instructions re: where to save this. I know to save the SoundCommands.dll file in the Data>OBSE>Plugins folder, but not where to save the SRC folder. Here's what files are in the SRC folder: dllmain.c, exports.def, main.cpp, OblivionINI.h, obse_plugin_example.sln, and obse_plugin_example.vcproj.

Anyone installed this and able to tell me?

Thanks.

The SRC(source) won't do anything. That's just source code of the plugin, and unless you want to take a look inside, it has no use to you.

Correct. SRC folders (a few mods have them) are purely for those interested in creating new mods from/with the same source code. So if you only want to play your game with it; ignore all SRC folders. :D
