Well, we've had it out west in previous Fallouts, as will Fallout: New Vegas. Fallout 3 hits the eastern shore in Washington D.C. What about future Fallouts? Continue in various places in the former U.S.? Canada? Somewhere in the Caribbean where you can travel to various other locales? Europe somewhere? China, the adversaries that it is believed help bring the holocaust?

Personally, I think China would be a wicked twist, seeing how they coped with the fallout...

I would really like to see this in Europe. So many cultures and and varying geographies in a compact area would make a great setting.

New York, the wasteland can be named "The Empire Wasteland", thats what it's gonna be named you'll see

yeah like the movie escape from new york. i would like fallout 4 to be in a city, like GTA type of city, but an area as big as the capitol wasteland, but just all city, urban areas, industrial areas would be part of it etc, wherehouses, skyscraqers all that stuff, thats what i want. :flamed: :trophy:

I also vote for New York, centered on NYC and the five boroughs. Maybe include Indian Point and West Point for a special quest or a DLC.

I'd like to see it set in Alaska. There'd be a lot of potential therefor deeper, political Lore between the Chinese and Americans during the invasion(s). Plus, it'd be interested to see how the bombing affected the Alaskan Climate.

Or Texas so it can be called the Lone Star Wasteland lol

Has to be kept in america no matter what. I'm not even american and i'm telling you that. Don't know why but america suits it really well.

That'd be a sweet ida actually. But you'd have to be have the whole city open to you and be able to go wherever you want. No big ass piles of rubble blocking the way forcing you to go through the subway tunnels.
If not New York somewhere with a cold climate like in the road. Just finished the book and it sounded really bleak an post apocalyptic like.

but i think the deep south and Appalachian mountains would work well. also fort knox would make a cool fortress/colony

The commonwealth would be the best option. With the references already made in Fallout 3 it would be a travesty not to have it set there.
Where would I like to see a Fallout game? Well New York would probably be pretty cool. As far as a Nuclear attack, that would probably be a prime target, and a great setting for a post apocalyptic game.
Parts of Canada might be pretty interesting as well.

Maybe a state or two by the Canadian border.

Alaska...well this is easy....it's us and chinese in fallout history...could make for an intese wasteland..filled with nuclear winter of fallout...where spots of snow are radiated..and there could still be a us vs chinese battle taking place...which would be interesting after operation ancorage..we could even revist after the destruction....and see whats new

china.....well china...i'm not sure how the language would go..but us solider went there with power armour..they tried to make power armour.... and it's a huge twist on the series seeing the opposite side of the great war and how they have faired....

commonwealth....very interesting.... and it might set up things further into formly annexed canada

(broken banks mention in point lookout) dunno but the hint of broken banks and commonwealth suggests either of those will be the next..but there are my thoughts on the much anticipated FO4...and please...soon....like TEV5 and FO4 at the same time...cause i really want more fallout.....and i dnt wanna wait till every1 else is done with TEV...cause i'm not a fan

i have the tech demo of Van buren..but i must say..it'll never happen....too much has happened now...we must all move on as a collective....van buren is dead...but many of it's aspects will be revived in NV...so please no more van buren talk......cause it's not gunna happen and i'm sick of hearing the winging....and please note i'm not pointing this at you ^^^^ but everyone
