Yeah I think it's been long over due for an announcement on when the next DLC is. Obsidian can't be too busy with Dungeon Siege 3 to at least announce a date.

I've logged 100 hours on NV. Played F3 on my bro's computer before he left for Afghanistan. I'm getting the GOTY Edition of F3 for myself plus the original Fallout Trilogy.

There is no need for us to complain. If you want more fallout there's 12,100 pages on the wiki. There's fan fiction and fan art, there's everything 50's in garage sales and stuff.
Hell, there's even a fan film! (Nuka-Break). There's a dude who makes a resin Pip-boy molded to your hand!

Christ, that's just the Fallout series. There's Borderlands, Just Cause 2, and GTA IV for RP.

Zero Punctuation on the Escapist does great game reviews as well.

Point is, just cause another DLC hasn't been offically announced, there's plenty of other options in the meantime.

They DID a better job with Fallout, but most of them are the original designers of Fallout, so they are at an advantage. Plus, the entire system is nearly identical to Fallout 3, basically took Fallout 3 and made a really big mod for it. A REALLY big mod. Just because Fallout New Vegas is 10 times better than Fallout 3 doesn't mean Obsidian is better. I still prefer Oblivion and Morrowind to Fallout New Vegas.

DLC killed the expansion, and got away with it! Biggest miscarriage of justice since... ever! :teehee:

I've already moved onto other games, but may return for few more runs once Project Nevada mod's other parts are released. I'll get the rest DLCs from a Steam sale at a later time, maybe.

i disagree.

i wouldn't mind an expansion... lol

people are picking on dm too much, stop complaining and admit that is was a ride. you just complain cuz it was hard, they warned you.... it had a great story, awesome people, cool enemies, not to mention how refreshing it was. i LOVED dm. (honest hearts will be even better tho. ;))

I'm still waiting on that DLC announcement. Maybe somebody could send a message to Softworks and see if they know anything. They'll probably deny but it's still worth the attempt.

They still do a better job then Bethesda.

If I remember right Fallout 3 got GOTY but what happened with New Vegas. :whistling:

New Vegas came out in the same year with many highly regarded games so if it does not win does not mean it is a bad game. Anyway GOTY does not mean much other than an award. New Vegas was much more true to the original Fallouts. I enjoyed New Vegas much more than FO3 (not saying it was a bad game just NV is better IMO) My only disappointment with New Vegas was the bugs on release day, but they are all patched now (at least the major ones), so its all good. GOTY is just an award, it does not prove what makes a good Fallout game.

Indeed, I knew that New Vegas wasn't going to get GOTY before it even came out. It was a given that Mass Effect 2 would get most of the GOTY/RPG of the Year awards, but New Vegas actually did pretty well in the award department considering that it earned RPG of the Year from PC Gamer despite Mass Effect 2.

I'm almost to the point of not even wanting to play anymore, I got Dead Money back in December. They should at least try to account for difference in release dates.

I for one loved Dead Money, not to mention the rest of the game. I have my complaints to be sure, but if the next installment is anytyhing like Dead Money I'll have it on release day.
