I agreed to fight in the Arena, but can't find the "Hole". On pip boy, I am right on top of it, but there's nothing there. WHERES THE HOLE?

You have to walk through a doorway that is not easilly seen at first. IIRC, you have to go up a short flight of stairs to get into the waiting area.

I see no short flight of stairs anywhere near "The hole" on my PIP boy map. Is it N,E,S or W of the point on the map? Also what is "IIRC"?

Enter the Mill......when you find a big hole in the floor covered with a cage made out of chain link fence, look forward and to the right.

The top of The Hole is that area in the Steel Mill that's fenced off with inward-slanted fencing. Near that is a chain-link gate that was previously locked if you would have checked it; it's close enough to the top of The Hole that you could stand with your back to the gate and almost touch the angled fencing. Go through the gate and down the stairs.

Here, I've got one more different way of describing where it is.

1. You start at the entrance to the Mill, from downtown, not uptown.
2. Go through mill, passing ammo press on your left. Then you are forced to take a right, in the mill.
3. Soon after you take the right, you will see a chain link fence on your right, at about 2 o clock. There will be an opening. Go through. The way is extremely linear. Go forward. Don't forget to get your gear after you finish what you are about to do.

The door to the gate is locked and you must have a key. WHERES THE KEY. PS: I found this about 5 game hours ago, but couldn't get in. Also, where do you get your gear?

It's locked until you're supposed to go there....try it now.

You don't get your gear back until you finish the fights. Look for the footlocker/chest in the room where you enter the Hole.
