I can of see people's point's here..

I guess Pureenimtalis you had a 4-5 KD when you first started because you played demo and beta like me? It's easy to mow down noobs in Recruits anyway.. I used to always come out with 10+ KD in recruits then now (on new account) it hovers around 5.2 KD which is my glass ceiling.

The game is hard for new people, it's very fast and dynamic and requires intelligent use of modules. It's also very hard for new people to see enemies in cloak, my brother had no clue how I could see them. When I first started playing it on the beta I was s**t as you would expect from a newcomer and I had little to no experience with FPS. Something just clicked with Crysis 2, I could do more or less do whatever I could think of and quickly got good. It's been years since I've loved again as much as I did the first few months I had it. Love it now despite the BS!

Compare this with COD, you are always exposed (no cloak), air support kills you all the time, movement speed is slow, weapons kills quicker, weapon imbalances, no defense against grenades (except flak jacket in Black Ops), you have to watch corners and for campers/quickscopers. In MY PERSONAL EXPERIENCE (note the capitals).. COD is alot harder than Crysis and more mentally exhausting to play.

To the OP, just put in the time and enjoy the game. Don't worry about the KD. Do your best and then you can reboot your suit at level 50 and then you should be good and have a higher KD. If you can get 3 KD+ plus then you are better than 80% of the players out there.

you know what you're right.i started looking at the leader boards on here and began to see a pattern.on the pc version i took to it really quick.but i was also able to pull off a headshot a hell of alot easier to. i am having a hard time getting used to the controller. its my worse enemy right now when it should be my best friend.lol. its not easy going from one platform to another especially when you transition from pc to console. i was like many arrogant pc owners, and never gave you guys the respect i now see you deserve. it really isn't easy using a controller. i have gotten alot better since this post started still stick by what i said about the balancing. give the little guy a chance to get some steam. but i'm sure i'll come to like it here on console its just gonna take a long while i guess. i've decided to focus all my time on c2 and put medal of honor on the shelf for a while. they are just two completely play styles and i need to work on a tride and true formula for this game. i'm not a fan of cod either but my brothers all play it online so i have no choice there. you're right hopefully in no time i'll hit level 50 prestige and all will be good. imma miss my pc for a while but i'm glad i kept my 360.

I do miss the controler as dont matter how much i can try and lie, It is alot easier to get headshots ect on it as its 'sooooooooo' much easier to aim as its pinpoint accurate as controller takes awhile to get 'your' aiming correct, take mine i have auto aim turned off and use very low sensitivity, But i have learnt to play with low as in how i move goes with my sensitivity ect ect, and my modules are there to help. I live by Proxy alarm! I do miss mouse i played css for the first time in like years other day and found it stupidly hard to get even a 3-1 when as before i would brag about myself.
And actually no i never played a beat or anything i picked up crysis a month after release, i just started to love it as it's easy if your smart and good at any fps.

I've wanted to get back into PC gaming (with mouse/keyboard), but I just can't see it.

I'm too used to having a controller in my hands. :(

But yeah, no doubt you can learn things from higher ranked players - as it doesn't exactly mean their all good players. But the one which are, can teach you a lot. It's just both ends will have things to say if the match goes the wrong way.

Yeah i understand what your saying. I have an account GILTSPIRE (4th reboot, Level 50) and I decided to be funny and go on my second account. This acount is level 5. And I went into instant action with a scar with hologram attachment. I used mind over brute force. I would launch the hologram in a populated area and shoot the morons down. So I understand it's hard but you need to find other ways to kill rather than just rushing as if you had the "good modules." just try some new and innovative ideas. But anyway peace out and good luck GILTSPIRE.
