Can anyone tell me where the hell is the instruction manual? I searched high and low & Google can only find Fallout 3 instructions.

I need help understanding the different graphics effects settings and how they interact with the game. For example, what the hell does "Wetness" do. Does that make all the girls wet when I turn them on?

WTF are screen space reflections?


Apparently not everyone has played fallout from the beginning and a lack of accessible instructions for the game and it's settings is completely unacceptable, especially for your most anticipated game, you dweebs forgot to include instructions..

The instruction manual is with the physical copy of the game, ask someone who has it.

Has the previous titles ever included instructions about the graphic settings? I've always either used my own discretion, or looked online for a tweak guide. Nvidia are usually very good at publishing in-depth articles explaining each setting and even show you the visual as well as performance differences.

As for the instruction manual, you can usually get that from Steam as a PDF if you downloaded the game from them*. The physical copies should come with a manual.

it's a single slip of paper folded in half with some health info and controler layout. I too would like a good instructions

When you are in the game itself, going to the menu will have a "Help" option. It seems to be fairly detailed about all the features of the game.

Pretty much this. One could say the instruction manual is in the game itself.

In mine there is just a perk map and a 4 page pamphlet with 2 pages not having instructions. The big fat hint book is pretty good though.

There is no link, there is no .pdf, there is none with the physical game, so where is it?

It's not just about instructions, or graphic settings, but also about key bindings.

I'd like to see a list of the hard coded key bindings in the game.

I'd also like to know which keys have more than one function, like sheathe weapon/reload.

This is my first of the Fallout series, and would like to know the basics controls and such.

The in game hints go away too quick, and you can't replay them either.

Oddly a Guide on how to mod your game by downloading and installing 3rd party mods that is written by another third party is not what most people have in mind when they ask for the manual
