I've been looking for thing for an hour, anyone find it?

Do you mean the laser pistol that is missing from the shop owner? If you do i found it, but if you meant rifle then i have no clue .

okay, well it is (i think southeast) in "Scorpion Gulch" along the fence that blocks off the area with the bunker there should be a knocked down peice of fence that has two tall rock walls on both sides, when you go in there should be bark scorpions and giant radscorpions, there is one spot with a triangle like area with a big dark brown rock in the middle, i found the pistol on top of the rock (i think the rock has a small plant on it). i can try to be more specific if you still cant find it.


EDIT: the triangle area i mentioned is the paths, they kind of make a triangle-like shape, and it is fairly small, so you might have missed it because you were avoiding the large swarm of scorpions .

You have to discover Scorpion Gulch and then go to the lowest point, the gun's on a rock there.

Ironically, the quest is bugged anyways; upon subsequent visits to the quartermaster chick, she'll still ask if you've found the pistol even after turning it in. It's still possible to access her shop, but it's kinda annoying.

omg i know, i went back and shes like "do you have it yet?" and i was thinking "ah crap did i skip something important?!" because it doesnt track it with a quest....that or my game is bugged...
