Where is the most dangerous place in fallout new vegas?

Caesar's Tent, hands down, if you refuse to surrender your weapons when you first get off the barge.

Truthfully the only place in the Mojave that is an issue for me is Vault 3 and thats only because I under estimate the feinds every time.

I just visited vault 3 for the first time this morning before work.

I made it through clean without firing a shot..............told the guard I was there to sell drugs and he let me right in.

If you've got the nerve to face your foes head on (rather than with Stealth Boys, C4, and sniping), inside Caesar's tent is the most dangerous place in the game. A pack of Deathclaws ain't got nothin on these guys.

Yeah you'll get falcon punched to death. :D

That works great, doesn't it? It's pretty easy to do

backwards, starting with M.R.... a cakewalk with Pushy, and really satisfying because of how stupid the junkies are. heh heh.

I still haven't cleared Ceasars Tent
Spoiler
after freeing Benny. Those guys gang jump you... have to try it stoned out of my gourd on Slasher, Psycho, Med-X, Jet, Nuka Victory, read a boxing magazine, etc.
I wasn't cleaning out the camp on that run, so I didn't really experiment much.

I disagree. I cleaned that tent with Pushy, but I cannot do the same with Deathclaws (deathclaws ignore armor and they have very long arms, so killing them is very difficult from close range).

Odd. I had no problem with Deathclaw Promontory or Quarry Junction with Pushy, but could not for the life of me survive that tent. (EDIT: Wait, no, I surrendered my weapons. I was stuck with only Love and Hate.)

The perk that makes you immune to knockdown is a must vs Ballistic fist. What I did was enter crouched with LMG(modded with extra ammo capacity)loaded with AP rounds. Soon as I entered I unloaded towards Caesars throne, ripping him and his guards a new one while Boone dealt with the guards that were beside us. I got lucky that Boone did not walk into my line of fire.

Easy question... Anywhere within 500 yards of The Courier.. Shudder... everywhere this guy goes stuff just starts dieing , most of the time gruesomly to boot.

I had little difficulty with the promontory or caesars tent, but I had all my weapons both playthroughs no chems, and faction armour - sneak - silenced sniper on one.

The mass horde of lurks further down river tended to be the toughest for me.
That or camp serchlights three giant rad scorpions popping right on top of you after exiting the house and not having a DT penetrating weapon.

Quarry Junction is arguably the most dangerous place in the Mojave Wasteland (says the strategy guide) and in my opinion, I think that the Dead Wind Cavern, Deathclaw Promontory, or the Quarry Junction are deadly places. I cleared Caesar's Tent at level 12. (Its not that hard, all you need is Assault Carbine and a lot of chems, including Fixer.

it's pretty easy if you get them to chase you outside. those ballistic fists are hell in close quarters, but once they get outside a marksman carbine with Ap rounds makes fairly short work of them if you dont stand still of get backed into a corner. If the latter happens, you're dead.

Hee hee! Ain't that the truth. That guy's a walking hazard zone. Also, stuff starts mysteriously disappearing at a rapid rate.

The Dead Wind cavern with it's Legendary Deathclaw, plus a hoard of other deathclaw's. No chance to snipe that one from a distance. 250 in attack damage ;-)

I agree with this. It's highly possible to be zerged by deathclaws in there.

I walked into that tent vilified by CL, and Ceaser stood up.

I no scoped his face off with an anti material :obliviongate:

Silver peak mine was terrifying for me, I was a very low level when I went there and relied heavily on Eddie's perception and the Cazadores come out of holes so you can't see them coming, I got swarmed, fell back the wrong way in my panic and ran into another hole which contained the legendary cazador. Not fun.

The promontory was horrible too, went there level 7/8 with an energy weapons character.
Not cool, I used all my mines, all the few grenades I had and almost all my energy weapons ammo too.

At high levels there isn't anywhere really that terrifying, not if you're a good player and plan ahead. (Still hate vault 34 though).

Excellent Sudden Justice fun, isn't it? Just what he's earned, too. I love that gun. :gun: :ahhh:

...but I think most people are thinking of going into the tent non-vilified-- where the guard out front confiscates your big weapons --
Spoiler
and then Ceasar tells you to decide Benny's fate. If you set him free (I know, why would you do that, right? :P ), Ceasar and maybe six guards attack you with Ballistic fists from about two steps away. Clearly doable with good knuckles, high unarmed skills and an stout dose of chems, but still a sudden and hectic fight!

Changed my mind the most dangerous place for a character with no DT and semi automatics at best ( hunting shotgun loaded with slugs the best one ).
Is the hidden room in vault 11, I never use chems on playthroughs, even using every chem and muching 6 high HP regen food snacks I had to reload 5 times before my party made it.

They're surprisingly good neighbors, though. All my characters live in Harper's Shack and the 'claws always stay out of the yard.

deathclaw promontory - i just went there at level 18. it took me about 7 tries to finally kill all the deathclaws. i only did it my giving myself so many chems that the screen had the blur effect for the first 2/3 of the fight. i will never doubt my ballistic fist again

Death Claw valley. But that just gives me a reason to climb up high and snipe them from a distance.
