Where is the reputation gone ?

Hi Guys... first, sorry for my language, i'm not english...

Well, there is something in Skyrim that i dislike so much : the way the reputation is evoluting.
It was fine in Oblivion, the more power you gain, te more quest your resolve, people "recognize" you. You're no longer considered like a farmer, and more and more people show you respect.
In Skyrim, you can be the Master of the Companions, you can kill the rebel chief... Guards still say "ho, you are there to serve the mead", or nobody except in the Legion talks about the defeat of the rebels.

It's so bad fot the "immersion' in a real RPG... I mean is there the effect of the XBOX predominance ?
I have the felling somehow to have bought an arcade game...

I can assure you that the decision to remove the reputation had nothing to do with the xbox (Not that I know what the devs were thinking, it's just common sense)

You can have lots of sound reasons to attribute every other "dumb downs" to the xbox. But definitely not this one.

It's not my purpose to attribute something to the Xbox, i asked a question about a deduction quite logical about a main lack in the game. The world seems not to evolve around your actions, especially in main quests. It's a problem to be called role-playing game, isn't it ?
