Where is this "fixed" melee?

I do recall someone from Crytek making a comment that the overpowered, 2 hit melee from Crysis 2 would be revamped and changed to be more balanced in Crysis 3. I do not see this as the case. From gameplay I have watched, I still see people spamming melee to net themselves an easy kill, as it has remained a 2 hit kill. I do not see how this is really balanced, as there is no change from Crysis 2's melee in the slightest.

Maybe my findings are wrong, I would love for someone who has actually played the beta to prove me false. I'm just stating that from the promises we've had of a new HUD, and a "fixed" melee, these have truly only been half met, in my eyes. The "new" HUD is just a slightly edited version of the Crysis 2 HUD. If you don't believe me, feel free to compare the two in screenshots. People have called Crysis 3 "Crysis 2.5" for its use of the old HUD, but I instead call this "new" HUD the "Crysis 2.5 HUD", as it really hasn't changed much. Look at the drastic change from C1 to C2, and then look at the change from C2 to C3...some changes...And then the melee, at least in my findings, hasn't changed a bit.

Again, anyone is free to prove me wrong, as I'd love to find out my words are just psychotic ravings. But I just don't see the Crysis 3 melee as balanced, or even changed, from Crysis 2.

edit: WaR, reckon you can make a dedicated thread with that video? It's bound to get a ton of hits and attention, probably even a Cryek post.

The only reason this isn't being made into a HUGE deal right now is because almost everyone is running with auto-armor so they think it takes 2 hits, the issue is flying under the radar. Initially even I had refused to believe melee was a 1 hit kill but...yeah, it's insanity. It has to be a bug/glitch, I refuse to believe Crytek intentionally did the opposite of what the entire community had suggested to them throughout Crysis 2 (make melee weaker).

If the final release still has melee just as powerful and lots of people start dropping auto-armor for something more useful, you're going to see a LOT more 1-hit melee kills going around. I foresee the forums being flooded by people asking for melee to be nerfed.
