I've yet to see a large squad mowing down the opposing team.... I've only seen once or twice me with another teammate who then runs off.

You know we oughta get a team up and start trying to play this way. Might be more enjoyable.

No, you can mow down a whole team on crash site with a JAW rocket. Truth.

Meh, I think it was intentional.

From my experience however, sometime miracles happen when you are playing with randoms. One time, I was playing TIA and ended up with a score of 50 - 17.

Truth.

Meh. Well this is why I enjoy Crash Site so much. It's a mode that largely lends itself to a team-oriented style of play, because most of the action ends up centering around one area. The fact that said area repeatedly moves to other locations keeps things from getting stale (like in, say, Capture The Relay or Extraction), and players earn a great deal of XP for performing team-oriented tasks in that mode.

By all means, this game doesn't lend itself to team-oriented gameplay as much as, say, Bad Company 2, but it still seems to reward players decently for helping each other out. Maybe not as much as I'd like (why are there not more challenges for Bang And Clear assists or something?), but I think we've got a nice balance between the utter reliance on teammates in Battlefield and the sickening every-man-for-himself Call Of Duty ridiculousness.

Please, it is understood that COD is an absolute trash game and I don't think it even needs to be brought up, just hearing it makes me cringe.

Anyways, among all the games that I've played, the BF franchise definitely has it set as far as team play is concerned. I've tried playing with random people online and without any form of communication or teamwork, it is really easy to get tramped on.

As far as Crysis 2 is concerned, I think it could have been enhanced to cater teamwork better.
