Where/when do you want to fight a dragon?

Post » Tue Sep 27, 2011 1:38 pm

When I think about fighting a dragon, I think about the places and times I'd wanna do it or what would be most exciting to me.
Where/when would you want to fight a dragon?

All of the above? minus while swimming :)

The traditional dragon lair/cave would have to be a must.

Luckily, we will be able to fight dragons in most of these places you mentioned.

cliff fight would be cool. getting caught in the water would make me double think my choice to sell that water walking ring.

Somewhere on a Mountain. or During a stormy night. Fighting a dragon and only having brief flashes of lightning to know where in is would be amazing.

Going against one in water would be one helluva challenge if they keep to the casting restriction. Yer choices would be scramble to the shore while getting dive-bombed and clawed in the back, or dog paddle and hack away.

In a stormy night high atop a mountain would be amazing! I also can't wait to fight a dragon in a heavy blizzard deep in a remote part of a forest.

Oooo! Though I'm sure that will just end with you falling off a cliff and dying.

I'd love to see how a dragon will fight in a wooded area... I mean, it's not too easy to land. That might be a good tactic if you're trying to evade a dragon.

A wooded forest, limits their mobility more than it does yours, allowing for careful hit and run tactics.

Stormy night sounds AMAZING!

Also by Riften, using only a bow and arrow - Re-hash of Smaug anyone?

In an open field right at sunrise/sunset with water in the distance, and preferrably with some castle like ruins(as seen in the video) for the dragon to perch on and swoop down on me!

Fighting in a village or settlement sounds great. It would either have to be a somewhat larger settlement, or smaller dragon, but I think this would be awesome. Especially if there were lots of structures for the player and dragon to hide behind and/or weave through to flank each other.

On a cliff, jump from the cliff ON THE DRAGON, AND THEN STAB/CUT/MAGIC IT

Epic.

In a populated village/town. Because it'd be great seeing the cowards run and fall, while you'll be able to see which of the townsfolk have the balls to face a dragon. Sure some will die, Sure none will care, Sure they'll somehow put the blame on you But I think it's all worth it. :hubbahubba:

lol if only...

I'd love to take a dragon down mid-flight, and have it skid right off a cliff. Lol, I'd think it was an awesome feat until I realized that I need to go down there and get the dragon's soul.
