i have a feeling this is where my volendrung is.. regardless.. i have tried the jarls longhouse, went all the way up to chill (winterhold jail) and nothing.. ive searched boards and have no idea where to go.. i have seen pictures of it but cant find the damn place.. PLEASE HEEEEELP!!

Why would volendrung be in the evidence chest? It wouldn't have been marked stolen if you did "that" quest to get it.

got disarmed by a draugr somewhere maybe?

true.. that wasnt a stolen item.. either way.. i paid my bounty and they took my stolen items.. i have no clue where to get those back and i have hundreds of items missing...

Well, I just went to the Chill to check this out, and all your gear remains intact and in your inventory, so obviously there is no chest. You must've lost it some where else.

so no one has found an evidence chest in the winterhold hold?

Isn't 'The Chill' in Winterhold the only Jail where your inventory is not confiscated? It sounds like your game has messed up.
