Where would you go to hunt in Cyrodiil

I'll be starting an RP character that will be a Hunter / Mountainman and, just out of curiosity, I was wondering where you would go to hunt if you lived off of the wildlife, and why (do you like the scenery? Is it a habitat for the game you would hunt? Does it fit the race you would choose for a hunter? etc.)?

Colovian Highlands for me, mainly because I like the more open, grassy terrain in this area. Think I'd spend most of my hunting time here: http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Oblivion:Imperial_Reserve

I didn't cast a vote, because I actually don't know what those places are..

Hunter character's for me are the most RP-able. It's usually the place around Imperial City, all the forest surrounding it. Also the region all around Chorrol.

When it comes to picking up ingredients and plants, the surrounding Skingrad. I always base it around a major city so I can trade easily.

I live in skingrad so thw west weald is easiest for me, lots of bears. The great forest isn't bad, the imperial reserve is also quite good. :spotted owl:

A lot depends on your objectives: are you hunting to feed yourself, hunting for meat to sell, hunting for pelts to sell?

Colovian Highlands for me. I like the open areas that I find in my travels as well.

North of Aleswell, I'm not sure what region that is. I had a character who lived in Aleswell, and he'd frequently visit that northern area to gather alchemical supplies.
