Where would you like Elder scrolls VI to take place?

Post » Sat May 28, 2011 11:55 am

I have taken out the options for High rock and Hammerfell as they were both in Elder scrolls II Daggerfall, along with Morrowind and Cyrodiil.

But we only got the areas around Illiac Bay. That's not fair!!! :swear: I want High Rock!
Anyway, I'm gonna have to say Summerset Isle.
Not Elsweyr because there is already a great Oblivion mod for it.
Not Black Marsh because I'd just kill all of the Argonians
Not Valenwood because of...Spiders

I hope it's Black Marsh. I'm in love with Argonians and that mysterious land.

Black Marsh would make a fantastic location. I just hope the hardware at that time could handle so much water and lush vegetation, I wouldn't enjoy a stripped scenery so it could be supported by some antique hardware.

Multiple areas, even all of Tamriel, would be awesome. Second choice would be part of another continent.

I'd be happy with any of those provinces. My first pick is Argonia though, a good place for adventure and discovery due to its strange and hostile environment and weird people.

Summerset Isle!!!!!!! I've been wanting to see that place for years! Last month when I was playing Arena for the first time, I was overjoyed that I got to go to Shimmerene and Alinor, even though the graphics were a tiny bit outdated when compared to Crysis Warhead...... just a tiny bit, though. But Summerset Isle all the way! And it would be a great place for a game because it is surrounded by water and that would allow the developers to not have to use invisible barriers. It could be constructed the way TESIII Morrowind was, where the water just went on forever. And just think, we could have Artaeum be the DLC for TESVI!

Akavir, with Summerset Isle as a somewhat (but not really) close second.

I voted Summerset Isle, but I'd really love to go to High Rock, so Helena can show me where she hails from.

Elsweyr and Valenwood at the same time. We need another dual province game like Daggerfall.

Then again seeing Highrock again would be pretty awesome. This time the whole province + what Orsirium looks like after the orcs became equal citizens.

Summerset Isles is also high on my to see list... And so is blackmarsh...

Wow, this post really didn't conclude much of anything. I want to see all of them!

Going to vote for Akavir. I think its time to step away from the main Continent for awhile. Going to Akavir would allow them to add a flood of new lore, and bring back that 'alien' world feeling that many experienced with Morrowind. While the flood of new races and cultures would be daunting, I think gamers would love to play a game where they don't necessarily have the same expectations. I would love to play as a Tsaesci exploring a new unknown continent with NO idea what to expect in that next cave around the bend.

Elsweyr and Black Marsh, but mostly Elsweyr.

Edit: crap, those aren't connected, are they? I'll have to go with Elsweyr and Valenwood then.

Summerset Isle. Think about it; they've mentioned a "Thalmor Dominion" several times, so it's possible it's like how in Morrowind they occasionally mentioned all of the "trouble" in Cyrodiil with the heirs. It would be interesting seeing how an Imperial Invasion would go.

I would not, however, mind Akavir, if it couldn't be SI.

I still want a game that takes place in the realms of oblivion.

Its like Planescape for TES nerds.
