Where would you rather live?

Post » Wed Dec 14, 2011 7:08 pm

Well, I like the cold but I get sick easily so I cant pick Skyrim.

I don't know the daggerfall area.

Morriwind area is too muggy and swampy for me.

Oblivion are is nice and forresty and theres cold parts in it......so I pick Oblivion area.

I'd live in a place that's not under constant existential threat.

Skyrim is to cold for my tastes, I think Cyrodiil will be just fine as long as I avoid Bruma.

Cyrodiil, no contest. A nice quite town like Chorrol would do nicely.

Would say Morrowind, but its kind of a volcanic wasteland now so either eastern High Rock or central Hammerfell.

Skyrim. Reminds me of the LotR movies. Lots or mountains, vast plains, and snow. Love the Holds as well.

Skyrim, no doubt :) Ideally in Solitude (or Windhelm, if they'd dare to repair their buildings or create streets that are not just a bunch of mud put together).

Bretons are my favourite race, so I would live in their homeland, specifically in the city of Daggerfall.

I absolutely LOVE cold and gloomy places, so I'd definitely live in Windhelm,

I think Windhelm would change from gloomy to cozy if they had some reparations and basic pavimentation done...hope somebody releases some mod for that.

Morrowind: You'd either be mutilated by cliffracers, exploded in a massive eruption, or put in chains by lizards.

Daggerfall: I suppose it isn't so bad, but I can't vote for this as I really can't imagine Daggerfall not in 100x100 graphics. So maybe, if I could see it with Skyrim/Oblivion graphics.

Oblivion: Nice countryside. Pretty safe, easy to get a job.

Skyrim: You'd either be mutilated by a dragon, killed in the crossfire of the civil war, or Fus Ro Dah'd off a cliff. And it's really damn cold.

Falkreath is just my kinda place. Markarth tugs at me because it's so beautiful, but Falkreath has that nice, gloomy quiet in a pine forest. Hell yes.
And the gothy, death-obsessed Reguard woman with a fascination with poisons? Bonus.

well I'd like to live in a pre-catastrophe morrowind, probably somewhere near Vos. Really I would like to live in any of the provinces in Tamriel, but Morrowind just feels like home to me. Its the video game equivelant of cosying up next to a nice open fire on a winters night.

Love the cold, love the mountains (one of the reasons I live where I do IRL) - In Skyrim for sure, likely Solitude or Whiterun... maybe Riften if they cleaned up the thieves :P

None of you that talk about cyrodill mention there was giant flaming gates popping up all over the country side with daedra pouring out.

I would love to live in any of the telvanni towns in morrowind just to see a house grown from a plant.

Wayrest or Daggerfall. I'd love to visit Summerset though, if I could get past customs not having pointy ears.

Skyrims the purdiest, but it's too cold and Nord girls are too tall so I'd probably have to max out in Cheydinhal or something.
