Sorry mate, have no idea what that is or where it is.

You can find Combat Armor in the areas around Diamond City. Raiders typically wear them. Check inside buildings too.

Do you mean besides the leather, raider and metal over armor pieces? I think we're meant to upgrade them and there may be/ must be something above the metal version. I'm wondering if... well I guess the leather is less weight but with no speed or light vs heavy armor considerations then shouldn't you just upgrade the strongest you have all the time making leather useless once you have raider, metal or something above.

What level were you?

The Arms dealer in Diamond city had some combar armor arms/chest/leg pieces. Was around level 15ish i think at the time. Had them all except the right arm for awhile, then he finally had that one to sell. So then you can change up/upgrade those pieces at the armor workbench if you have the right perks.

Also doing BoS quests, you get a chest piece if I am not mistaken

I picked up a bunch of pieces off of dead mercs, who meeeee???? At the nut house in the NE area.
