Last we heard of him, he was in black march. I imagine he was captured by a swarm of argonians and corrupted by a hist tree. Would make a great dlc antagonist :P

Dead. Corprus made the Nerevarine immune to disease and age but not immune to choking one self with a chicken bone.

I last left him settled down in Thirsk.

Of course, now a new one is trying again...

I don't get it. Why would he hunt down Vivec?

I don't get it. Why would he hunt down Vivec?

Cause Vivec killed his previous incarnation or because Vivec is a False god, or because Vivec pissed off Azura who is pretty much Nerevar his patron saint, and helped the Nerevarine a lot, because the Nerevarine wants to kill three gods instead of two, because the Nerevarine does not like the way he looks, because the Nerevarine read the 36 lessons and is jealous of Vivec his relationship with Molag Bal...

Who knows? There could be a million reasons. Personally I think the last I listed is the most likely, but you can never be entirely sure when it comes to legendary beings.

Mine left for Artaeum and some time later departed to Aetherius. Not sure how, or when, but I'm sure she's still studying CHIM.

Furry Japan (Akavir) is the most accepted theory. I think
This, though the Nerevarine's fate was left to be very vague, lot all heroes in TES, so the Nerevarine is where YOU want the Nerevarine to be.

As for mine, he's been vacationing in Akavir for a while. Taking time to kidnap some of the races of Akavir to perfect his toxins and diseases, while sunbathing naked. Don't worry, he's just a Saxhleel from Great House Telvanni with the rank of magister

I reckon Bethesda killed him/her off in Akavir. Perhaps then we'll have another one arriving shortly...

The prophecy has been fufilled. Dagoth Ur is gone and the source that gave the Tribunal their divinity is beyond their grasps, besides two of the Tribunal are dead. There is no need for a new Nerevarine.

I think any Nerevarine that read the 36 Lessons of Vivec like he/she was supposed to would not hold any ill will toward Vivec. That said, my Nerevarine did kill Vivec, but she did it with love, to reach heaven by violence, and to pave the way for his Second Coming.

Immune to age? I can't remember such a thing to be happened in Morrowind. As far as I remember he became only immune to diseases.
The wise woman of the first Ashlander tribe you meet tells you that the nerevarine is immune to age and disease.

S/he's so famous that if s/he were still around, it would cause ongoing difficulties for the lore, because you would expect to hear about his ongoing adventures. Starting a rumor that s/he'd left for Akavir was a way to clear the picture without killing him.

Nerevarine is in Aetherius with Vivec [VEHKING] Jill-virgins with their [MUATRAS].

Cause I have a feeling that the Nerevarine and Vivec would be total bros (even if the Nerevarine is a girl and Vivec actually is a hermaphrodite).

Divine tag team ahoy!
