Isn't it really a bit too early to worry or speculate on what the DLC or expansions might be? At any rate, I think a huge, ancient subterranean city built into the mountain would be a cool/interesting location. Add in some long forgotten treasure and equipment, uniquely subterranean monsters, and related quest lines, and you've got the beginnings of a damn good expansion. Feel free to add to this or modify/criticize any of it how you see fit.
Hopefully there is no DLC. I have never bought a DLC. I'm not getting into that stuff. They release enough to charge for the whole game again. No thanks. If it's in an expansion like shivering isles or bloodmoon, I will buy for sure.
I hate DLC, especially day 1 DLC but most of all DLC that is announced months before the game is out.

I have to agree with you wholeheartedly. It always seems like they day one and pre-release DLC should have been included in the game to begin with. As soon as I see those or hear about them I get this pain right in my wallet.
They arent doing full blown expansions! Bethesda said with Oblivion they were experimenting with DLC. With Fallout 3 they found the sweet spot so Brotherhood of steel and Operation Anchorage for instance.
I prefer expansions but I will take anything I can get. If it has to be a 5-6 hour DLC.......I will still get it but i really really hope they do several expansions instead. I would like to see some daedric realms and high rock or summerset isle.
Akavir is out of the question - you'd get something like you got in Tribunal - a closed city you can't leave . There are only two realistic scenarios: 1) another daedric realm or 2) a visit to an island of a neighbouring nation. That would either be a return to the destroyed Morrowind to figure out what really hapenned or some skirmish on the coast of High Rock or Hammerfell.
Guessing by how they have been doing things, it will be someplace sunny. Maybe partly underwater. They like to just knock you over with the contrast and I bet people will be sick of ice and snow.
Oblivion was just getting started with DLC, they didn't have the planing or information to do it well. I guess it will be more like how it was done in Fallout 3.

Really? I don't remember having read anything like that. Well if that is true then it's just sad... really really sad. Oh well i have to try to look at the bright side. Atleast i don't have to buy anything but the game itself.
