Where do you go on vacation?

Post » Tue Sep 10, 2013 1:20 pm

I'm actually getting back into Skyrim to finally finish my main character once and for all before GTA V releases. Because once GTA V releases, I will probably never play another game for a long time. I played Red Dead Redemption non-stop with over a 1000 hours put into it. Cannot imagine how many hours I will be putting in GTA V. There is also Amnesia: A Machine for Pigs that release tomorrow. Already have it pre-purchased so I might play some of that from time to time.

Game wise? Fable 2, RDR, Oblivion.

But I also like to take walks ( hike ) whenever possible. Plus spend any time I can near ( as in IN ) any body of water I can. When I have the chance I also like horseback riding.

Don't get much time to play anymore, what with classes in full swing now, but over the summer after getting a bit bored with Skyrim I got the Jak and Daxter collection for ps3, which ended up inspiring me to do another Uncharted Series run. On top of that I got characters in Skyrim, Oblivion, FO 3 and New Vegas that I'm gonna have to make time for throughout the year.

Many places

Calradia, Morrowind, Mojave, D.C., europe, north Africa and Arabia, Tropico was nice for a dictatorship, Deponia was a dump how those people stand that large junkyard is beyond me, Albion was nice but they need to get rid of all those bandits oh and I can't forget Whispering Rock it was nice but those TV obsessed campers creep me out, it was like they had no minds.

I play a lot of pinball. That is where my love for games began.

I only bought the game in July so I don't intend to play anything other than Skyrim for at least another month. After that I seriously need to go back to Mass Effect, I've got all the trilogy set up and was rather hooked for a while, but Skyrim got in the way...

I know I said it earlier, but I will say it again - I will always always always go back to MW2.

I have never been a role playing gamer. I am and will always be a call of duty fan, so it's always back to modern warfare free for all becaus it NEVER gets old or boring. Role playing games (other than Skyrim) just svck too much.

Lately the only game that has really drawn me away from Skyrim is Mount and Blade.

I've been a Tomb Raider fan since the beginning so that's my go-to after TES.

Or I could bash my head against the wall and start up Dark Souls again. Believe it or not I mean that affectionately, it's a brutal game but since it's fair about it there's incentive to just keep trying til I get it right. Sure I cuss, and yell at the monitor, but I do that in Skyrim too.

Otherwise it's work, gym, school, family stuff. I still have a lot of Skyriming to do. I think I'm good until TESO,

Just to be clear, I do mean video-game wise. You don't have to tell me about work commitments, yesterday I played a videogame (NWN) for the first time in about a month.

Interesting choices. I have a friend who swears by Mount and Blade, just looked like a whole lot of hard work to me... For real time wasting I like a good RTS, and there is no better in that field than Warcraft III. It still looks and plays amazing after all this time, and they're still patching it (you hear that, Bethesda?). I like Command and Conquer Generals: ZERO Hour, too, real time-chewer that one. I just can't get enough Generals Challenge.

I need to stop messing around and finish that game. I've started it so many times, but f I take any lengthy break from it, I entirely forget what I was doing or which quest I wanted to do next or wanted to build differently, or...something. I really enjoyed my throwing-focused character, and made it pretty far I think, but when I built a new pc and started her again, I couldn't find any good weapons (i.e. another enchanted chakram) and got frustrated.

Thanks for reminding me about that. I got it from GOG not Steam so I forget it's there.

I switch to other TES games like Oblivion and Morrowind, so that I can still feel like I'm playing Skyrim!

Just kidding. Well, I've beaten The Last of Us a few weeks ago.

When I am on vacation from Skyrim, I engage in artistic and athletic pursuits.

I may also play Morrowind, Dishonored, Mass Effect and other titles from time to time.

TLoU is amazing. Just wish some DLC would release already. That season pass has been pretty worthless so far.
