Where is your house?

The way you folks talk about this White Stallion Lodge place, you're making it sound like a darn nice place to live. I'm going to have to look into it. Judging by what's been said in this thread so far I think my current character would like it.

Hmm...there's stuff I wanna say but I don't spoil anything. I have a feeling you've never "attained" this lodge yet.

You're right: I've never even laid eyes on the place.

:whisper: You can enjoy the porch without owning the property. It is not trespassing. And it's so cozy by the fire, though if you hang out for too long after dark, it gets pretty chilly.

The storage is safe in your quarters after completing the quest. There is another bedroom there, that ALSO has safe storage, though you can never sleep in the bed. If you are leery about the storage in either room, take all, from every container, replacing that with a single arrow. Leave for four days, the city I mean, then come back. Then you will rest easy knowing that it is a guarantee.

Thanks (: I will test out Dementia's quarters, but I'd assume that there's safe storage there as well.

As for White Stallion Lodge, it's a fantastic place. Caius loves sitting on the veranda, watching the sun set, taking a dip in the river and drinking way too much mead. He keeps all of his food with him, just so he doesn't lose it ;) his house mate is hardly ever there, as well!

Wow....that means you've never met...um...never encountered...

DAMN! I don't wanna spoil it for ya, Wyrd. I can't say it, and if you ever um...go in that direction, you'll thank me for not spoiling. That's amazing you've been playing TES: IV this long and never um...attained WSL. This is one of TES: IV's more enjoyable stories in my opinion.

Top five enjoyable stories for me. Hope you make it down there sometime.....

Ah yes, it is a very beautiful place. When it′s not raining that is. Which it does most of the time Lothran is there :stare:

Lol. Sorry. I remember once it rained for for about three weeks in the game. Hard. Day and night. I was starting to think it was a glitch when the sun came out one morning. My character took off all her clothes and jumped in for a swim.

Well, you have to keep in mind that I mainly make up my own stories when I play. I've played many characters who never did a single Bethesda quest during their entire game. And, to compound matters even further, I've never managed to get any character even as high as level 20 in Oblivion. I am absolutely, indisputably the most ignorant person in this forum when it comes to knowing anything (from experience) about Bethesda's quests.

But after listening to you all talk about this place I'm determined to coerce blackmail kidnap persuade my new character into going down to Leyawiin and see what this is all about.

Same here. I had to put in the sun command in the console for the rain to stop. But seeing that you are on a console, you can′t do that as you don′t have a console.. er.. ehm... :unsure2:

I recently bought Arborwatch in Chorrol as well. Nice house, although not as cozy as other houses. The Waterfront Shack is nice in that regard. I'd recommend having plenty of items to decorate the place with, should you buy it!

Aela has found a wonderful tree house to stay in! She absolutely loves it, and its in Eastern Cyrodiil.

You don't need to be a certain level to start that particular quest. And the main NPC in that questline is pretty entertaining. :twirl: You'll have some fun roleplaying that one, no doubt.

But after listening to you all talk about this place I'm determined to coerce blackmail kidnap persuade my new character into going down to Leyawiin and see what this is all about.

I'm really curious about this new character of yours. I hope you talk about her soon.

Very nice. A little too richly appointed for Wild Elf, unfortunately. (Plus the skins on the wall would be very upsetting, as Wild Elf is very fond of Brother Bear.)

Buffy is torn between her love of forest and civilization both, almost as comfortable in a tree as in the court of a noble. She spends much time in the forest, but when she runs low on hair conditioner and such, it is always back to silk, warm baths and her wonderful apartment at the Arcane University.

Aela’s tree house looks great, and what a nice location! The view is tremendous. My Bosmer has taken over Shetcombe Farm, but it is far from ideal. This would be perfect for her!
