Where is YOUR Lydia?

She was in Breezehome keeping my wife (Mjoll the Lioness) company, but then I sent them both off to the Blades.

I'm about to have to abandon her for Farkas on the Companion Quest.. I'll miss her though.. unless Farkas is stronger. lol
Is there a way to get her back after the quest?

Sitting dejectedly in my house, waiting for a chance to be called on for aid. (Seriously, once I went in there, and she was sitting in that chair in my bedroom just staring at the floor. She looked so depressed. :sadvaultboy: )

I feel pretty bad about it, but I just have no interest in using a companion (the Escort Quest The Never Ends?), and I can't fire her. :(

So all of us have had Lydia as our loyal companion, and my question to you is what happened/where is your lydia?

Mine is laying in some dungeon I went into right after I got her =(

Like you she died very shortly after she came to serve me. She did not make it through her first dungeon. I was a little sad since she was helpful and would have reloaded, but I just beat a really hard dragon priest and was like bad luck for her. FYI she as at the bottom of the Labyrinth.

With an arrow in the back of her head face down outside my house. She kept being irritating.

She is a pile of ash in a cave somewhere "out there".

She fell to the bandits' arrows because she would not stay where instructed. But, after she fell I raised her up so we could fight again one last time. A final Danse Macabre from which no bandit survived.

This courageous, strong, loyal and very capable woman is still with me at Level 20 and we're at my home in Whiterun where I've just been experimenting with Ingredients in the Alchemy room. I turned all kinds of funny colors but she didn't seem to mind. Our next job is to get her staves all charged up so we can head back out and find some word walls. The other people who have offered their services to me haven't been stronger than Lydia but if I find one, I may send her back to the Jarl for a well-deserved break. I'd like to take her to the end but not sure that I can. Maybe we'll go out to the tavern later and listen to the bard.

She's eating all my food in Breezehome. I traveled with her for a couple of days but felt she was keeping me back most of the time. I can take care of myself, she can just lay back at home and do whatever she feels like for all I care.

I kinda accidentally left her waiting in a dungeon. Basically, it was a quest that involved a third party also being with us. Lydia kept getting killed in the crossfire so I finally just had her wait near the entrance. The problem was that once I completed the dungeon, the exit was an alternate route and the way back to the entrance was now blocked. This all happened last night, and I don't know how the "wait here" mechanics work.

My question to the community is do I have to go back and get her, or will she eventually show back up in Whiterun?

I haven't a clue where my Lydia went. I wasn't even aware she'd gone. Maybe she's still alive and just chucked me.....

Guarding my treasures in Breezehome. I initially kept her in the kitchen, but after the noodle incident I decided to let her get back to what shes truly good at: looking surly and twatting things.

Lydia is currently trying to get fat. Bread makes you fat, it's made of carbs, which make you fat. she went out on a few adventures with me, but now I mainly use the Datk Elf from the Vaermina quest.

After sitting in my home looking depressed i took her out for some rebellion fighting , long story short we ended up in an dungeon on the way to the quest were she was absolutely slaughtered by a dreadlord, (the scary undead thing with a blue cape) while i were trying to figure out how to cast a soul trap spell  , gave the damn woman ebony armour so i thought she would take care of herself.

Maybe it's just been my luck, but my Lydia has died several times (I, too, reload to bring her back to life as she has been my packmule...) and always because of my weapon. I've never seen her die because of an enemy, but she has it in her head to step in front of my axe or arrow and down she goes...

I thought I was done with her until I bought Breezehome. The next time I returned I was quite surprised to discover she'd moved in.

I think she's stalking me.

Annoying my wife (Aela the Huntress) by sitting in our room, eating our food, and moving our books around, the freeloading [censored]. I never even told Lydia she could move in. I might just leave the house for a while and let my wife deal with her. I'm pretty sure Aela could take her in a fight.

My Lydia is at the throat of the world, killed in the battle against a certain big MQ enemy... I placed her body so she could see the word wall for all eternity and left to continue my pursuit.

She is sitting upstairs in my house in Whiterun, being boring and uninteresting like she always is.

Really, I don't get this infatuation with Lydia. Every other companion I've had has been more interesting than her.
