She's now a blade - i dont usually use a companion unless a quest requires someone tagging along.

I used her for about, 30 hours of gameplay, then got rid of her for Aela the Huntress, she did not die cause I look after my followers, even my horses, no one dies on my watch! So she is sitting in my house in Whiterun, with my wife... who is probably cooking lol, at least she has company

I tied her to a sacrificial pillar and stabbed her in the face in the name of daedric god.

The Steward of Solitude sends you, where you have to take on necromancers and stop Potema being resurrected.

My Lydia has died over and over, I think I've killed her accidently at least 10 times now her but always reloaded. She was fairly useful early during the game but now she's becoming more a nuisance. The companion AI needs alot of work. Almost every time I go into a new dungeon or cave now I just park her at the entrance and she basically serves as a pack mule.

Rotting with the bodies of the Falmer who slayed her under Markarth. :(
Apparantly they're the only ones who doesn't care if a companion is knocked down.

Part of the reason she's a nuisance is that she doesn't level correctly for some reason: she has "auto-calc stats" flagged, but they're not recalculated when she levels up with you; as a result, I've had to manually increase her health, stamina and skills in order for her to not be ridiculously outclassed by some of the enemies we're going up against.

She was waaay too ballsy. As soon as I got out of Whiterun she decided to take on a giant and lost badly. I didn't bother reloading. I continued on as my one man wolf pack, no room for stragglers :P

I killed my Lydia inside my house in Whiterun. When I exited the house, I courier had a letter of inheritance for me. It was filled with words of sympathy from the Jarl regarding Lydia's recent death and an inheritance of 300 gold. LOL

This, a fight with some drauger scurges (2-3) at a relatively low level as a battlemage took multiple attempts, once we had done it, (me, Lyd and my sanguine rose summoned Dremora) i turned round to celebrate to see her slumped there. No way in hell was I doing that again, so I resurrected her for one last fight then went on my way....lonely.

The last time I saw her she was floating face down in a watery cave where I went to kill some Alik'r warriors and their leader.

Does it make me a horrible person to say that now I feel... relieved? :D
