Which do you think is better, more powerful, more appealing, etc., the Divines or the Daedra?

Daedra are more powerful since the Divines sacrificed their power to create Nirn. The Divines have to act through avatars and their worshippers mostly. Most Divines are benevolent and most Daedra are either evil or in the grey area, with a few seemingly wholly benevolent Daedra mixed in. I'd prefer to meet a Divine than a Daedra walking down the street as would most people. In terms of who's more interesting, I'd say the Daedra by a mile. Divines don't do much.

From a lore consumer perspective, the Daedric Princes are infinitely more interesting to me than the Aedric Divines. At least, if we are comparing them as 'beings' as we've encountered them so far.

But, I think the Dawn era and the myths surrounding the Ehlnofey are fascinating and I'd love to get a little more concrete insight into exactly what they were and what Nirn looked like when they began to wander, become divided and eventually fade and 'die' and become the Earth Bones.

From an in-universe perspective, I think there is a lot of appeal in both groups but for different reasons. As the Aedra exist now, rarely making direct contact with the mortal realm and only ever doing so in rather alien and mysterious ways when they do, the Divines feel more like concepts to me than they do 'living', sentient gods. And some of those concepts have a lot of appeal. The behaviour in mortals and philosophies those concepts inspire also have a lot of appeal. I'm big on altruism and love, so Mara is my kind of gal. I value the pursuit of knowledge, the use of logic and the wisdom in literature, so Julianos is pretty great in my book. And six, the arts and beauty are all awesome so Dibella and her raunchy cults are right up my alley!

The Daedra, however, are much more tangible. We are actually able to interact a lot more easily and build a 'personal relationship' with the Princes. This is appealing to me because I prefer proactivity and decisiveness over abstraction and detachment. And, on the plus side, several of the Princes have a lot to offer the mortal world. I respect Azura, Meridia and Malacath because, by and large, the way they influence the world is relatively benevolent or at least not purely sadistic or destructive (like so many other Princes). Both Meridia and Azura have had profound effects on the course of mortal history and largely in a way favourable to mortals and Malacath and his code almost feel reminiscent of the romanced Codes of Chivalry in ancient knightly orders. Only with more self-loathing and fiery outbursts.
