i've been using The Lady for years, but now I think I will use The ritual.. Fortify Endurance doesn't really do anything in the Lady birthsign..
Which one do you use?

I usually use a sign from a http://download.fliggerty.com/download--723, but for vanilla I'll use the Thief or Atronach.
I used to always use the Lady, but starting with ~60 End is just too much when you have played the game 100 times.

I thought starting endurance would affect starting health but after all these years I'm noticing it doesn't!
-edit- starting health endurance bonus from Lady birthsign.
-edit- 100 or 1000
I checked more than one since I switch between birthsigns depending on the characters, but if memory serves me I mostly used The Lady.
It depends on the character. I have probably used The Warrior most often (it was so nice of Bethesda to name an Ability after me). The only Birthsign I have never used is The Steed.
I use all of them, except for Serpent and Lord. Ugh, those two...
Among them I mostly use Warrior, Steed and Apprentice.
The wiki says it doesn't..
I was really disappointed too..

Strange Lady signWhen you choose Lady as birthsign, you should gain +25 on your endurance, which you do. But the +25 endurance does not affect your starting health! Posh! Janmojzis 22:32, 16 June 2010 (UTC)
It definitely should. Check that again. +25 Endurance should give you about +12 starting health and 2.5 every level up, see Health. Sethiel 18:13, 7 December 2010 (UTC) I had the same experience as Janmojzis - starting a male Nord born under the Lady, the character had Strength 50 and Endurance 85, but Health only 55 at level 1, i.e. the average of Strength and Endurance before the +25 from the Lady. I had the same behaviour in both Morrowind + Tribunal + Bloodmoon + official patch only, and with unofficial patch and codepatch installed. (When leveling up to level 2, I gained the expected Endurance / 10 Health (9), up to 64 total Health.) As noted already, your beginning health is not affected by a birthsign which boosts Endurance. --Brf 02:11, 8 May 2011 (UTC)It was always the Lady in Morrowind for me, and the Thief in Oblivion.. In Skyrim it's the Steed stone.
I use Expanded Birthsigns 4 Purists, but I have at some point used most of the birthsigns. I only checked the ones I use most often, though: The Shadow, The Lord, The Mage, and The Atronach.
Thank you for clarifying..(I don't see any underline in yours)
Depends on the character. I like using a Breton with the Apprentice, because their magic resistance cancels out the weakness and you have a very healthy amount of magic to start off with.
I usually pick The Apprentice for my birthsign unless I'm playing a character that will absolutely never cast spells (very rare - only once have I done that I believe). All the other effects/bonuses from the other signs can be replicated or surpassed eventually, some quicker than others, but the magicka multiplier fortification birthsigns are always useful for spellcasters as that stat is nearly impossible to improve. The malus you get from the sign is for the most part not much of a malus at all as "weakness to magic" does not include elemental damage in Morrowind which some version of is the damage type you'll be facing 95% of the time when dealing with enemy mages. You can also regen magicka by sleeping (or normal fatigue/willpower based regen if using a mod like GCD) which immediately rules out The Atronoch for me. Never cared for that sign really, despite how popular it remains with many players as the 50% Absorb Magicka, while nice, is not worth the trade offs for me.
Occasionally an attribute boosting sign can be nice. The Lady for example is never a bad pick really as more health and better dealings with NPCs help you out in two major aspects of playing the game. Some of the other choices however... like the ones that only offer a weak spell or once-a-day power than can easily be duplicated by learning similar/better spells in that school of magic are pretty much either a sick joke or an intelligence test for players by Bethesda to see if they pick one of those worthless signs. If you do, your game should immediately and automatically uninstall itself. I mean look at something like The Lord - holy crap, what a worthless birthsign.
While I tend to use "The Lady", "The Atronach", or "The Apprentice" more often than the other signs, I've used most or all of them at one time or another (not sure if I ever used "The Lord").
For many time I used the Lady, because I thought it was fine for my Pilgrim (mostly used class before discover the pleasure to be a Sorcerer), also I was seeking some relation between birthsigns and real birthsigns, then finally I was found that my real birthsign October, 15, Libra) is related to the Tower, and since this time I played only under the Tower, in Morrowind and also in Oblivion.
