Which character will you use first in Skyrim?

Post » Sun Sep 19, 2010 9:24 pm

My last poll made me wonder if you guys will use your favorite or try something new? I think i will maybe start with a nord just to fit the mood or maybe a high elf because i dont think ive tried that yet..Please explain why you will use that character first.

picked breton. but I think its too early to make that kind of decision. skyrim sounds like its going to be revolutionarily different from any previous titles and as of yet no one can know just how deeply race will affect game play. in morrowind I was usually nord, in OB i was almost always breton.

A lazy-eyed dunmer skooma dealer with a penchant for stamp collecting.

Or maybe a black guy.

I can't make a real decision until I see what all of the races look like.
But, at this point, most likely a Nord, then a Dunmer on a later playthrough.

Nord. It just fits best with the game. I want to feel like I belong in the environment. Like my character has always lived in the wilderness of Skyrim and always will.

I honestly can't make up my mind. Either Dunmer or Nord. Nord would be more appropriate, story-wise, but I'm more used to the Dunmer playing strengths.

If the games good (which I'm sure it is) I'll be playing multiple times but my first time will be redguard since I play as me usually.

Redguard or Nord. In all honesty, it depends on which one I can make look cooler. Planning on a Redguard first though.

Nord. Because so far, they have had the most strength out of the races, and I like running around with a short/ long sword and a shield mashing up trolls ogres spiders skeletons potatoes.

I chose Almter or High Elf because they have the most magica. So I guess it will be the same here, or I would use Dark Elf (wich I coudln't use in Oblvion GAH!) or Argonian. But I love to have as much magika I can have.

I've had a special like for Redguards ever since the game Redguard. Their bonuses fit best for me too.

Also, a darker character will stand out more against the snow, increasing my (perceived) awesomeness.

For my first play through, I always play a Nord named Mikael with long silver hair, big silver beard, Blue eyes(1 green if possible) that is a standard hero type warrior that uses little magic or stealth skills and does not steal.

Nord, because as Mankar said, it fits best and gives a sense of being part of the environment.
Also I very rarely play as one, I think the last time was in Morrowind and I didn't make it out of Seyda Neen before I loaded my Dunmer Witchhunter.

After awhile I will certainly make a Dunmer character and go on an Argonian killing spree.

Nord. I used a Nord in Oblivion, and I'd like to continue along that path.

I think I'm going to start with an Altmer for once, actually - just so I can experience a lot of hostilities from the local Nord populace. :D

Most of my characters are bretons so odds on that the first in Skyrim will be a breton.

A washed up drunken nord gaurd.

A real wastrel.

Hits fast, hard, and dirty. Then plunders, loots, and gets the hell out.
