Which characters do you wish you could marry?

Post » Thu May 03, 2012 6:58 pm

I am fine with the choises for males.

For females, i wish you could marry Ralof. He guided you trough a very dangerous dragon attack while he could run away on his own if he wanted to...you could make great rping story's if you marry him then.

Karliah, though I understand why we can't, as marrying her would probably interfere with her eternal love for Gallus... The Thieves Guild in general needs marriage options, as we don't have any right now... disappointing!

And after having her as my companion for quite a while, I'd really love to marry Aranea Ienith.

VEX!? Every time i talk to her I want t o slit her throat. What a biotch! Sorry, she would be on my kill list! But there are a number of NPC's that I'd like to see as candidates. Elisif for one. They could have written in a good side story over that pairing. Some of the barmaids of course!

Well, marrying Rikke would be sweet I guess, for my characters in the Legion.
Lovers in arms.

Ulfric Stormcloak, obviously!
First I thought it would be great if I had been able to marry him to the devoted Stormcloak character I plan to build. After all, he looks good, has lots of charisma, and I bet half of the female Stormcloaks have a crush on him. But then I had a better idea: wouldn't it be great to be able to have Ulfric fall in love and marry, say, an Altmer mage?

I'll second that. I quite like Ralof. Also wish you could give him some of the bottles of mead with juniper berries you find in Helgen, if you go back there a bit after the intro.

Also: Erandur. Just...Erandur. It was nostalgic crush at first sight the moment he called my character "sera." Only Dunmer in the game who uses the term, IIRC. After finishing "Waking Nightmare" I think I annoyed several people in IM conversations by sulking about Bethesda not making him a marriage candidate.

There is a "marry Ulfric" mod if you're on PC. I almost tried it for my Dunmer thief/assassin. Imagining the faces of some of Windhelm's Nords when their Jarl marries a greyskin... priceless.

But I built that character specifically to do the questlines that I *didn't* do on my first couple of playthroughs, so she joined the Legion and the mod requires you to gain his favor the same way you normally would before building up to the marriage bit. Totally going to try it this time though, playing a Nord warrior type who joined the 'Cloaks straight out of Helgen.

With my last Stormcloak character, I married somebody else but Ulfric and I did have a http://img815.imageshack.us/img815/9715/ohulfricyounaughtyboy.jpg.

Went exploring in the Palace of the Kings after the war was over, just to see what kinds of new and special access my achievements might have granted me. Don't think I'd ever been up to the "master bedroom" before, imagine my surprise when I was looking around and the "Sleep" option popped up as the crosshairs passed over the bed. :teehee:

Went back after he went up to bed himself and it was still there so, yeah, if you join the Stormcloaks at some point in the questline you apparently gain a LOT of favor with the boss man, lol. Call me naive but when he said he had a weapon from his personal armory with my name on it, I really thought he was just talking about the sword.

Elisif, Ingun Black-Briar, Alva, and Vex. Also Karliah, but only cause of her voice... I really like whoever did her voice, she sounds amazing.

I don't have a problem with any of the people I have the option of marrying. I just wish you could have children.

Something in the way she moos... attracts you like no other heifer?

Adrienne Avenicci

Sure, if you want to spend the rest of your life listening to her brag about how she's the one who advises the man who advises the Jarl. It's even more pathetic when the Jarl in question is now living in a cramped basemant in Solitude and isn't a Jarl any more. Yeah that must've been some pretty good advice he was getting, lady... you must be so proud.

I lol'd so hard.

And hmm, any character that tells you they wish someone would swoop in and take them away from wherever they are and go on adventures/romance, like that lady in Solitude. Wujeeta, because, who hasn't wanted to marry a recovering drug addict? Some of the male/female Khajiit caravaneers.

Eh there isn't a whole lot of reaction to PC race in the game.

I mean none of them get upset when Ulfric says he considers you to be kin.(That'd make you a contender for jarlship should Ulfric die)

Idgrod the Younger

Then kill off that old crone Idgrod Ravencrone and become ruler of Morthal! (despite the fact it's a morbid place)
