Which companion(s) do you usually drag along?

I have Julan and Constance in my current game as well as a few pets(the prizes being a Lion named Simba and a Dragon named Draco) that I've modified from other mods. And I always use A Lords Men, of which the guard companions can be quite useful, and hilarious, especially in mass.

I once, for fun, decided to hire 150 Imperial guards just to see how badly my game would slow down, and to be honest as long as they weren't on the screen they barely took up any fps, but once I had them on screen it cut my fps in half, and if there was a fight it grounded to a crawl(was getting 3 fps when they all went after one rat).

Anways, I proceeded to attack an ordinator in Vivic just to watch the chaos and it was pretty epic, nearly 60 Ordinators dead, and only a handful of my deadly companions...god I wish I still had that SS, it was pretty darn funny seeing all those same faced imperial guards standing over that gold temple floor...er well it looked kind of like a gold floor all those bodies did. :P

I like to recruit 3 to 6 companions, usually a mixture of Cutthroat Mods' Partners and MCA companions. I like the MCA companions even more now that I've given them the ability to "shop" for their own supplies, i.e. healing potions and ammo.

I never go anywhere without http://lovkullen.net/Emma/wolf.htm. He's my best, most loyal friend in Morrowind.
I rarely go anywhere without http://lovkullen.net/Emma/Constance.htm. In my newest game I have added in http://lovkullen.net/Emma/Kateri.htm, and from what I have seen of him this is going to be great fun... but I tend to revert to my old game all the time instead of playing the new, so I yet don't know him so well.

Then, it's a mix... I am married to Wulfren of Lokken and sometimes drag him and my sister-in-law Laurenna with me. I have a family with a Nanny and kids living in my Ascadian Rose Cottage, and they have dogs, cats, kittens around. I sometimes visit Laura in vivec and give her a kiss because of the sweet animation - I pretend she is my somewhat lunatic cousin. I love Grumpy's companions - they are all part of my family, and I'm particularly fond of Beryl and Hurd (up to a point where I don't want to introduce Hurd and Wulfren to each other )

Someone here mentioned http://lovkullen.net/Emma/Domehome.htm from Dome Home, and I'm so glad to hear that! I think she is largely forgotten as she is part of a house mod. But she is one of my favorite companions, a "Beryl with background and personality", loyal, friendly, reliable. And even if I ended up having to work on her alone, after Grumpy had passed away, he took part in planning who she was going to be, so in a way she is by him, too. I'm incredibly fond of her, and I hope you don't find me too 'pushy' if I take this opportunity to advertise a little for her :).

I still haven't tried Jasmine and have only briefly met up with Comes-by-Road, but I'm looking forward to get to know them better. But right now, I'm playing more Oblivion than Morrowind, as I'm working on upgrading my Oblivion companion Vilja. So it will have to wait a little.

Take your time, Emma. I'm in the process of writing another companion that will interact with Jasmine if they're both loaded at the same time, but he's still a ways from being finished.

Constance is my favorite--has been, since Emma discovered her engaged in "a little of this, a little of that." I also enjoy bringing Julan and Jasmine along. Can't say I've found many others, yet, but I've been busy with other things of late, and hope to get back to playing Morrowind, shortly.

I usually only use one companion per game as I prefer ones that come with a quest or three, the ones I keep returning to are Julan or Wulfren (White Wolf of Lokken) because both have such great adventures. I usually have MCA running but I rarely use the companions that come with it, there's a nice variety no matter what type your character is, you'll find one to suit you.

Other companion with quest mods that are very worth checking out are: Dance of the Three Legged Guar, The Glory Road (advlt content) and Prophecy of the Lost Heir.

I still haven't tried Constance (yet), and I don't know why as everyone who has absolutely loves her!

In my last game i used 5 companions: Constance, Jasmine, Kendra, Beryl and Lady Death.
I use all 5 of them alot, but Constance, Jasmine and Kendra a little bit more. I like Constance alot, especially the little surprises which is added. And the quest is nice too.
Jasmine plays a sortkind of role in the mainquest or actually give comments on your task. Same goes with the legion and certain sidequests. The quests are nice too, despite some bugs.
Kendra doesn't come with a quest and isn't talkative like constance (still has a good amount of dialog), but is good for the difficult tasks. Can summon daedra, which is increased by levelling (starts with a scamp and at higher levels it would be an atronach or dremora)
Beryl is usefull for in the beginning, as she start with level 7 and stay this until you reach the same level. Is assumed to play as an escort and i use it also in that way. At higher levels beryl is still usefull.
Lady Death is quite unique. Modelled after a comic. The second version comes with a hellhound (a repainted war durzog). Has no real special dialog, but has alot of options. Comes also with own gear.

I have also used Dawn once, but i ran into problems when using it. I suspect it doesn't get along with the house of earthly delights harem style mod, since the companion is set into that place.
Haven't tried any other yet. I will use vorwoda's shock centurion mod in my next game, since i join the telvanni and this mod changes the already existing shock centurion companion (reward from a telvanni quest)
I think i will give Laura also a try.
