Which Daedra Lord/s would you want to worship if you had to

Post » Sat Dec 03, 2011 2:33 am

I'm not a super-fan of Morrowind, but Azura actually cares about people that she likes. She's less of an "all-knowing, emotionless entity" and more of an emotional being, which makes her more easy to relate to and she's less likely to kill you on a whim if you've served her loyally.

Also she was involved in the Main Quest of Morrowind, which is why many Morrowind fans may choose her.

You say that but then she gets too attached to you and the one moment you want to take a break from her she's scorned

Boethia I guess, though on some of those days I need to unwind I'd pay a visit to a shrine of sanguine :foodndrink:

snip

You have some inconsistencies with the princes.
  • Namaria is the twisted version of Kynareth; she's a nature lover. She is different though, in that she focuses more on the ugly, gross, and dark aspects of nature. She's not a disease prince, but only uses it to make someone more repulsive (Beggar Prince). She HATES anything unnatural, especially the undead.
  • Clavicus Vile's decisions are not based on chance, he's not Two-Face. No, he's more like the Devil when you are in a position to make a deal. However, these deals always favor him more than the person making the deal, though in the case of Umbra, things are not going as planned.
  • Malacath is not all about steroids. He's about being an outcast. He's the loner's, the ostracized, and the pariah's god, which is also why he looks a lot like an orc.
  • Peryite isn't about having a super-severe case of OCD. He's the prince of pestilence and maintaining some order. I almost think of him as a lighter version of a Plaguebearer (diseased, rotting, humanoid demons whose job is to tally all plagues of Nurgle).

I agree with that, and that's part of why I like Namira. I like ugly things in nature like insects and snakes, and also she hates people who are beautiful and attractive and will only have followers who are ugly and repulsive.

Well, I still wouldn't want to become repulsive. :P I could understand if she was trying to root for the underdog, but she hates people who're born beautiful.

Eh, still don't want to make a deal with the devil.

Malacath favors strength and scorns weakness, according to what I read.

And from what I read Peryite was a little more obsessed with order, but I'm probably wrong about that.

Hermaeus Mora is the source to infinate knowledge! All you have to do is to walk out of the darkness of ignorance and into His light!
Do not trust Azura, she is out for your love and when she gains it you are her belongings! Her playthings, her dolls.
Sheogorath? Ha! He is a simple mortal trying to trick you! If you worship him then you can worship just as well worship Narina Carvain of Bruma!
Hircine is like one of your "aristocats"! He sits back and watch when you die for him. Die for his completely useless ideas! His "hunts", more like slaughters!
Meridia is a shortsighted fanatic! A fanatic! Do I need to say more? She cant even keep check of her minions, the Aurorans! One day she destroys an Ayleid city, the next her minions are helping an Ayleid sorcerer destroy your useless "gods"!

Hear my words for I am an worshipper of Mora!

Just using propaganda to gain more worshippers. The more worshippers the better!

Just using propaganda to gain more worshipers. :P

On a more serious note, I have a reason for loving Meridia. Has anybody here been to the cave "Vahtacen"? Well, I opened up the Hidden Door without knowing and I left the cave. When I entered, it was a few hours after midnight real-time, and I was in first person. And what was I greeted with? A screaming WRAITH. My speakers were up because I was listening for Trolls outside, and I literally slammed the "Escape" key, jumped out of my chair, and vowed to despise the undead in the same breath. I also hate zombies, because they're just plain disgusting, immoral, and they're undead like Wraiths. I hate ghosts because they're like low-level Wraiths, and Liches are like super-Wraiths.

It all comes back to my hatred of Wraiths.

Had you been a true worshipper of Hermaeus Mora then you had known that you should have put cotton in your ears so that you wouldnt hear it scream so high!

I'm highly doubting they're precognitive. :)

However, Meridia hates the undead, as I.

As a worshipper of Namira, I hate things both beautiful and unnatural. My character is a dark witch who wears her ring proudly and worships her in the dark chamber of Benirus Manor.

Yeah, I'm roleplaying as a worshipper of Namira now. :P

Well I'm on 360 and have no Mods, but I try to get NPCs to dislike me, and I don't think as a worshipper of Nature that you have to live without harming it. I mean Kynareth allows mortals to kill her plants and animals as long as they put it to good use for things like food and clothing. I'm sure Namira would be the same way, but anyways I could try to get a Command Creature Spell so that my character won't have to kill animals.

Bosmer females are pretty good Namira worshipers, if I do say so myself.

I bet Argonians would be great worshippers of Namira. They're a part of nature too, and a lot of people hate Argonians because of their reptile appearance.

Mauloch. I raise my sword to the heavens and howl a song of defiance through blood-lacquerd teeth! Not really, but it sounds cool. My prefered race is the orc, and they're always a Malacath worshiper, so yeah.
