Which Daedra Lord/s would you want to worship if you had to

It's either an orc of Malacath or a crotchety, agnostic Altmer, for me.

I just want Meridia to take a larger role soon so that we can learn more about her.

I personally want to get a chance to visit Moonshadow (Azura's Realm) in a future game, because we've gotten to see Mehrunes Dagon and Sheogorath's realms.

Moonshadow just sounds like a very pretty place. Imagine seeing all those beautiful flowers, trees, and silver cities covered in the half-blinding twilight (I think that's why people say it makes you half-blind, because I know it's hard to see in twilight which is Azura's sphere).

Meridia - Life energies, hatred of undead. I can get behind that. Sphere still not completely known.

Peryite - Seems like the most reasonable of the princes. Helpful to his followers too. Doesn't freak out if you turn him down. Sphere still unknown. (Pestilence? Then why are his followers perfectly healthy and don't talk about it? Ordering? That's a subset of Jyg's domain)

Hircine - Okay, I'm not really a big fan of the murdering other people aspect, but you have to admit, the guy isn't backhanded about anything. He says what he means, and if he gives you a challenge, he gives you one with a possibility of winning. He prefers fairness. You can worship him without going the whole "stalk humans and kill them" route anyways. Just hunt wild game.

Those three are my preferred.

Azura? Vain and conceited. Manipulates people to suit her fancy, or to get revenge on others. Lies about it. Throws hissy fits when she doesn't get her way.

Mora? Always seeking...never finding. Never satisfied. Never content.

Vile is untrustworthy. He'll honor his agreements, but you need a legal team to be sure that they're exactly what he says they are.

Vaermina isn't... eh I'd rather not be trapped in nightmares forever, thank you.

Namira I kind of respect, but I prefer Kyne.

Beothiah. Too much cloak & dagger nonsense for me.

Mehrunes Dagon. Hey if you can really get on his good side, he's pretty nice to you I guess. Still you are setting yourself up for destruction down the road.

Molag Bal. No. Just no.

Malacath. Not an orc, don't think he'd appreciate me very well.

Sheo. WHAT AM I GOING TO DO WITH ALL THIS STRING?

Jyg. what...am...*yawn*

Mephala. Two faced, but doesn't hide the fact. Still, being manipulated constantly isn't all that much fun.

Sanguine. Two words. Coyote...Ugly.

I think a lot of Daedric princes could use that treatment, including Merida, and, my personal favorite, Nocturnal

Meridia did have a part in the life of Umaril and KotN.

Well the first vampire died and then came back to life, so I guess people die from the illness, and then become vampires, sorta like zombies.

I think they'd be considered undead. In the Wolf Queen book, it mentions how she'd have vampires as her generals and skeletons as her maids when they were discussing her undead-filled castle.

I'm thinking of starting an RP of a character similar to her attitude, lol.

Of course everyone votes Sheogorath. Yes, because deep down you guys are all mad and crazy people!

Anyways. I would either worship Boethiah (He's just cool, and he's patron Daedric Prince of Warriors), Hircine (The Great Hunter, I love hunting!), or Sanguine (PARTY!!!).

I can't decide. Is it possible to worship multiple Lords? I've never heard of a person being a polytheistic Daedra Worshiper.

EDIT: Just saw that more people voted Azura. What's so great about Azura?

I think some people are voting based on who was refenced more in a game.

It goes Azura (main player in Morrowind), Sheogorath (main player in Shivering Isles), Hircine (Main player in Solsthiem), and after that it's more even.

Sheogorath is awesome as far as mad gods go; there's nothing quite like http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/ptitlewbt6s033?from=Main.DidWeJustHaveTeaWithCthulhu. Daggerfall Sheo was the best; really ambivalent about the Sheo in Shivering Isles. Really disappointed with it quite frankly.

Saw a statue of Sheogorath in Morrowind and it was  at first sight. He's also the de facto patron Daedric Prince of artists and creativity.

You just jealuzz.

That's fine if you understand a lot about Sheogorath and whatnot. I just know that a lot of kids would immediately choose the mad god for the sake of being wild and crazy.

At least you like him for a decent reason! But I'm getting worked up over something stupid, so I'll stop now.

I think thats just how Azura works. Manipulate sheep into thinking she's the best thing ever, and use them to fulfill her goals(Which usually involves petty revenge, showing off to everyone, and making bets with the other princes.)

I would have to say MALACATH. He is so awesome lower case is an insult. That, and the fact that he is about stregnth and I believe keeping your oaths. Saw it in oblivion somewhere. Not much in terms of personality but seems to be a more honorable/ruthless Deadric prince.

Why does everyone chose that Azura thing? She is selfish and arrogant! Only by the wisdom of the past and future may you be fully able to understand the world and rise from the petty disputes which Azura seems to always get in!

Do you want to know why Azura sent the Nerevarine to Vvardenfell?
Firstly it was because she needed someone to protect her priestess from Sheogorath′s attempts to disturb the priest!
Secondly it was because she was angry because all the Dunmer worshipped the Tribunal (Clowns the whole bunch) instead of her!
She needed someone to remove the Tribunal from their stolen power... and the Nerevarine was just the person needed for it!

Now the Dunmer have gone back to worshipping her like they did before just like she wanted!

Join Mora and find wisdom found nowhere else in the world!

I actually like Azura. Not as much as Namira, but still I think she's like a real Goddess should be: loving when loved and cruel when angered. I think that's the reason the people of Tamriel consider her good because she functions like a real deity should rather then just being a twisted demonic being that tortures mortals for her own amusemant. She really is the most human of the Daedric Princes, and as long as you worship her and treat her with respect she'll reward you greatly, but if you offend her she'll bring hell down on you. That's the way a real God or Goddess should be.
