Which Daedric Prince Would You Worship?

Post » Wed Nov 25, 2009 9:21 pm

What about... none? IMHO its just not save to worship a Daedric Prince.

It is if you know what you're doing. Basically don't be an idiot about it and you'll be ok; I feel it partially depends on the Prince as well.

Really, would you like to spent eternity in his Apocrypha as a lost soul desperately seeking forbidden knowledge from books with black-covers? That's what ol' Hermy does a lot.

You know, this still sounds better than the fates that await people in a couple of the other realms.

Why must we worship only one? If I were living on Nirn and worshipped the Princes, I'd probably do a bit of worship to them all like in a home shrine or something and perhaps have a closer relationship with whichever one or so spoke more to me. Whoever was more fitting to me personally, I mean, not actual speech. With my personality and interests, this could be anyone from Nocturnal to Sheogorath to Meridia.

The Princes are both good and evil, and are neither, as near as I can understand, with their personalities deciding which part of spectrum they tend to spend more time in. All of them strike me as very... human in this regard, or at least easier to relate to.
I'm probably wrong though.

And if you like knowledge that much why not stick with Julianos instead? Aedra worship is much safer then Daedra worship.

YAY! :goodjob:

BUT....if I absolutely HAD to pick a Daedric Prince to follow..then...reluctantly....I guess it would be...

*INSERT QUOTE FROM HUNTER S. THOMPSON: "Mother of God, here it comes...."*

*sigh* hermaeus mora :shifty:

*ahem*

Let's not bring this up to Brian S for any reason. He would get his jollies from now till Landfall over this one. So....SHHHHHH!

The question was "if you lived in Tamriel and you worshiped a Daedric god, which one would it be", not "would you worship a Daedra and if so what would it be." "None" is not a valid answer because just by answering it has already been assumed that you worship a Daedric Prince....

I knew that. I said it because I don't worship neither Aedra nor Daedra.

...well the thread asks what Daedra would you worship.... I for damn sure wouldn't worship a Daedra either, but the thread is technically asking if you HAD to.

Well, obviously, many here wouldn't like to worship any Daedra anyway. Sheogorath for me only because he resembles and English banker, who I have always presumed drank tea. I am sure people here have heard my lament that there was not even one cup of tea in the Shivering Isles. If Sheo is somehow scratched out becuase of the SI.... Boethiah.

Otherwise, I've always been fond of the Tribunal.

Hircine or Clavicus Vile.

Moreso the former, than the latter.

Or...maybe even Peryite, but only if he doesn't test his new invention out on me. (Reference to my fanfic.)

Lol I don't even have anything to say about this. This is just hilarious to me. :biglaugh:

To all you "Hircine" worshippers, what pray tell makes you choose him?

I guess if it counts, I would worship Jyggalag. I like those Order Robes that his priests wear.

Choosing a god based on fashion? Heck, why not? Hollywood does it.

Well, it's not just the robes. It's also because Tamriel needs some order.

Order sounds fine, but note that order taken to the logical maximum results in fascism. (One thing I liked about Jade Empire was that following the "Light" side could result in evil, and the "Dark" side could be used for good. Shame this conflict wasn't explored much in the game.)

I'd choose Hermaus Mora. Or if I feel adventyrous, Sheogorath. I'd just have to shave.

Smarts comes in several forms. Is not a politician which specializes in manipulation, disinformation, and backstabbing also a very intelligent one? Afterall, he has to understand and manipulate a very complicated system with dynamic and intrinsically unpredictable elements.

As for myself-- Either hermaeus Mora, or Sheogorath. I'd tell shiggles that I dont really have a beard, it is actually a rare fungus which grows on my face. :D
