I was wondering what everyone thought which dlc is best and why, for right now I am only going to get one, so which one should I get and which is the most worth it??

i guess dead money... its got a good storyline (great one), and it's fairly challenging. a bit tedious though. has replayability. also it's the first of the DLC's, so playing them in order is recommended.

maybe you should watch the trailers for all of them and see which one you're interested most in??

definitely don't go for lonsesome road, as this is the final DLC and the story will mean nothing to you (the DLC's prior to it build up for a climatic finish).

Check out the Ultimate Edition, it has all the DLCs and can be purchased for around $20, less on sale.

Dead Money: Linear type gameplay, very challenging (espesially not having points in certain skills), the background is brown and redish colors

Honest Hearts: Very open, feels like starting a new game with very basic guns to collect, enemies are pretty basic as well

Old World Blues: Very funny, Loads of guns to collect, Robot type enemies

Lonesome Road: Story driven, also challenging, quite a few guns to collect, variety of enemies

If i were you i would get the ultimate edition but if you have to pick one i would start off with one of the earlier ones for the story. If you really don't care about the story go with OWB or Lonesome Road. Those two are the best. Ask anyone. Although im a big fan of Honest Hearts as well. The atmosphere is just so well done. Its very basic but i love playing it with my sniper build.

really this is the answer, the dlc all tie into a story and getting them all is worth it imo. Plus it will be way cheaper to buy the ultimate version than to individually buy all the dlc

That said i personally had the most fun out of old world blues. Its zany though, and that turns some people away.

I also don't really like dead money, i like the characters, story, and setting, but not the actual gameplay. Its just annoying imo

The main thing I'm looking for is how good the landscape and map are, also along with which has the best new rare items with it. In don't really want dead money because of how once its beat, you can't go back to it like with the others

Dead Money is more about the story, backstory, and atmosphere of the Sierra Madre, and less so about rare items and shooting enemies (although I must say the reward in the end is probably the most expensive item in all of the wasteland). You would probably enjoy it, but I guess you're looking for something else. However Dead Money is my most favorite DLC I've ever played in any video game so that's how I feel about it. I loved it that much.

Honest Hearts is a bit story driven as well but does come so-so sized map and some pretty good loot (Thompson SMG, Colt .45, Desert Ranger Armor, etc.). The landscape is light beautiful although the map itself feels empty besides the occasional White Legs, Yao Guai, Cazador, or random Gecko. It's probably my least favorite DLC out of New Vegas but you may possibly enjoy it.

Old World Blues is pretty good. The story is a bit average, a good landscape full of some of the darnest things and crazy enemies. The dialogue and characters are probably the funniest in all of the game, you're definitely going to laugh a good bit. What I also like about the DLC is that you also get your own home in Big MT, called the Sink. You will not only be able to store items their for use many different services available, like a toaster that wishes to burn the world, or an tiny securitron that has a strange addiction to mugs. The loot is also pretty good, some unique weapons here and there.

Lonesome Road, although linear, still has that destructive and destroyed landscape found in any post-apocalypse. Just combine that with nuclear warheads, earthquakes, winds that will rip your flesh, and some of the most deadliest creatures you will ever encounter. It has a great story and probably the best loot you'll find out of all the DLCs, like the many different kinds of Riot armor or the Shoulder-Mounted Machine Gun.

I'd recommend doing Lonesome Road last, as the DLCs kind of go in a story with Lonesome Road being its conclusion but you can do it in any order if you so desire. But out of all of them if it's rare times and a good landscape you're looking for, I'd recommend Honest Hearts or Old World Blues.

All of them are pretty great. Besides, you can get the Ultimate Edition for 25 bucks these days and get all the stashes and the dlcs.
