Which DLC First?

Post » Wed Sep 21, 2011 7:30 pm

Well, I bought NV about a month ago and I have thoroughly enjoyed it, so I decided it's time to buy some DLC. Should I buy them in a certain order?

I purchased Old World Blues yesterday and I'm loving it, but which DLC should I buy next? Should I jump to Lonesome Road, or should I buy the older DLC first?

I don't think I wanna buy Dead Money because I've heard so many bad things about it. I watched some of a let's play and it doesn't look too good either. Is it any good?

Thanks in advance!

Haven't played LR yet, but I'd say get it.
Just in case, read some more posts on here about LR, see what people think about it.
But, yeah, the decision's yours.......just don't buy Dead Money. :nope:

I liked dead money, but i think Old world blues would be a good start.

Old World Blues or Lonesome Road, both got some really awesome [censored]. Dead money was REALLY not worth the "Gold Bars". And Honest Hearts, at least I found, wasn't that intriguing.

I think it depends on you really.
Old world blues is based on science and energy weapons. Dead money has an extra casino if you need more money. Lonesome road is amazing and well versed on guns, energy, and melee/unarmed. If I were you I would get in this order.
Old world blues, honest hearts, lonesome road, then dead money.
Dead money was good. But from experience, get the better ones first. Lonesome road and old world blues are currently the best imo.

And Dead Money is ultimatly useless after you find the Casino Chip Hex exploit .

Since you got OWB:

1. Dead Money.
2. Honest Hearts.
3. Lonesome Road.

Save Lonesome Road for last as it will fully explain Ulysses.

I too recommend getting Dead Money, I enjoyed more than OWB and will give you more insight about what you discovered in Big MT.
You have to keep in mind that every DLC is different from each other and unlike manny DLCs I've seen being released from other companies, they really complete each other.

Since you got OWB you can play Dead Money or Honest Hearts in any order, but I agree that Lonesome Road should be the last played .
