I personally Love Morrowinds theme, but Oblivions comes in a close second

Morrowind is my favorite. My wife and I had the harpist play it at our wedding. Oblivion is a close second. Skyrim a somewhat distant third, although it was good for what it was. I just don't like to hear a barbarian chant for general listening but I could listen to Morrowind or Oblivion any time. Daggerfalls music gives me a headache and I can only take it in small doses.

1. Morrowind. Its melancholy grandeur can bring tears to my eyes even now. My favorite video game theme of all time.

2. Daggerfall. This is nice, it sounds like a real Elder Scrolls theme. I think this theme has some personality and conveys a sense of adventure.

3. Arena. Sounds like the theme to a low budget Roger Corman sword-and-sandal flick. But enjoyable, in a cheesy sort of way.

4. Oblivion. Recycled Morrowind. I was so disappointed the first time I head this theme. I was hoping for something original. But it is pleasing to listen to.

5. Skyrim. The worst in the series. Another regurgitation. But this time it is not even listenable. The simian grunting of the male chorus sounds ludicrous and is unintentionally funny.

I like the "Daggerfall theme" the most, but it's actually never played in the game. Only in the Daggerfall demo title menu. The real game menu doesn't have any music at all.

After listening to them all, i like the Arena theme the best, maybe because it sounds pixelated if that makes sense, Morrowind is second, and oblivion third.

My game has music. It sounds like elevator music, but there is music. Different shops have different music, depending on the quality of the shop, but it all sounds like elevator music to me. That's probably why it gives me a headache. I listened to the actual theme music on you tube and it isn't that bad. Too bad they didn't use it in game.

I like the Skyrim Soundtrack the best, but the theme the least of the modern 3 games. The Chants are a bit much for me. I think Morrowind's Theme is the best with the Oblivion one being second best. The earlier games I would have like to hear those themes produced better as they sound a bit cheesy (limitations of the recordings more than a comment on the music).

I will say that the music does seem to fit the world for which it's made.
