Which Enemies Should/Shouldn't Return?

Post » Thu Jul 15, 2010 2:51 am

Uh... we are the saviour of Skyrim, the Dovhakiin, who will kill DRAGONS. Mountain lions shouldn't be almost impossible to survive.

Yes, and the reason they should be killable is that we notice them in time, and avoid their blows long enough to kill them. Not because of auto-heroism.

I can imagine a huge guy in plate armour maybe surviving an attack or two, but a wizard, thief or warrior in light armour should be dead if he lets a mountain lion get in close.

I would like to see creatures with a design far from our reality. It is supposed that we are in another planet, not in the Earth. Minotaurs, bears and wolves, also certainly.

Does someone see the similar one? Only he lacks the brain.

I would really like to see the cliff racers near mainland Morrowind. Perhaps in the volcanic tundra area.

Whoa nice! They look like something out of the Terminator :flamethrower:

If cliff racers plague the skies again, then I hope we see Dragons flamegrill and munch on them. That I would love to see :D

Well if we're talking about creatures "just" from past games I'd like to see:

Ghoul - Arena
Hell Hound - Arena
Snow Wolf - Arena/Bloodmoon
Zombie - Arena/Daggerfall/Oblivion
Giant Bat - Daggerfall
Slaughterfish - Daggerfall version only
Centaur - Daggerfall
Werebeasts- Daggerfall
Grahl - Bloodmoon
Spriggan - Daggerfall/Bloodmoon/Oblivion
Boar - Bloodmoon/Oblivion
Udyrfykte - Bloodmoon
Frost Giant - Bloodmoon

These are just the creatures from past games I'd like to see make a return. I didn't list any daedra because I'm under the impression that there's not going to be much in the way of them after Oblivion (probably still a few scattered shrines). I also didn't include anything from the offshoot games from the main series as I've never played them, but I'm sure some of the creatures in those games may deserve being resurrected into Skyrim.
Ogre - Oblivion
Goblin - Arena/Tribunal/Oblivion

There needs to be one cliffracer in the game. It should be the pet of an NPC and be VERY shy if the player comes near it. It should be trained to say to the player, "AWK! Sorry for bugging you so much in Vvardenfell! AWK AWK!"

Horkers. Anything but mounted rieklings...even at high level in Morrowind I would of sooner ran or fight werewolves then these little bastards.

Fleeing Deer.

They should be removed as enemies, because why shouldn't I be able to FT when fleeing deer are nearby?

Yes! Ogrims in the tundra! Polar bears would be awesome. Horkers and Spiggans are a must. More water - borne creatures please! I heard a whisper that there may be DRAGONS....hope not. :whistling:

About the daedra, I'm not sure if that's the case or not. My understanding of it was that the deadra from Mehrunes Dagon's realm would be unable to enter Tamriel, but these restrictions don't exist for other daedra lords. Wasn't that why Sheogorath could randomly open a gate to his realm even after the Oblivion crisis had ended?

I really hope the daedra do make a big appearance in Skyrim, since they were about as creative as Oblivion's enemies got.
