Which EVE clothes re-placer esp to use?

Post » Tue May 17, 2011 12:44 pm

Just a quick question, I've finished my new install and was checking over the BOSS log when I noticed this:-

EVE_StockEquipmentReplacer.esp . Bashed Patch tag suggestion: {{BASH:Graphics}} . Note: For Vanilla, do not use with OOO/MMM/FCOM, use that version instead.EVE_StockEquipmentReplacer for OOO.esp . Note: For OOO, do not use with MMM/FCOM or EVE_stockequipmentreplacer.esp.EVE_StockEquipmentReplacer4MMM.esp . Note: For MMM, do not use with OOO/FCOM or EVE_stockequipmentreplacer.esp

I don't have FCOM installed just OOO and MMM, there is little to no info in the readmes that I've seen about which to use in my circumstances.

Which one or combination should I use.

use the FCOM Version for a MMMforOOO config, does not require FCOM only needs OOO to work..the info on the plugins are listed at the bottom of online readme or in eve thread itself.

To be honest, I checked all of them and bash merged them.
As there are a lots to use on the TesNexus page (I guess its 6 now),
and I was too lazy to look into with TES4Edit, this was the most easiest solution for me, and it works!

(just some worn armour versions are missing, but maybe none of the mods offers them....errr?)

I took a closer look at my installed EVE_armor/cloth replacers.

EVE_StockEquipmentReplacer.esp
. Bashed Patch tag suggestion: {{BASH:Graphics}}
. Note: For Vanilla, do not use with OOO/MMM/FCOM, use that version instead.

EVE_StockEquipmentReplacer for OOO.esp
. Note: For OOO, do not use with MMM/FCOM or EVE_stockequipmentreplacer.esp.

EVE_StockEquipmentReplacer4MMM.esp
. Note: For MMM, do not use with OOO/FCOM or EVE_stockequipmentreplacer.esp

EVE_StockEquipmentReplacer4FCOM.esp

I deleted EVE_StockEquipmentReplacer for OOO.esp and EVE_StockEquipmentReplacer4MMM.esp, but i am in doubt about the EVE_StockEquipmentReplacer.esp.
Its size is 50MB whereas EVE_StockEquipmentReplacer4FCOM.esp's size is only 9kb. the 4COM esp seems to lack the ressources.

Shouldnt the BOSS advise look like "use vanilla with only one of OOO/MMM or FCOM"? Instead use only ONE of the 4?

You are confused. The FCOM plugin is 12kb. It is an alternative plugin for use with FCOM. You still need the main file download. The plugin just replaces the stock plugin. Do not uninstall the rest of the mod, just the original plugin. You are mixing up plugins and mod packages, not to mention, you are reading the compressed archive sizes.

Edit: That is why the big download is under "Main Files" and the alternative plugins are under "Optional Files." The EVE ReadMe only mentions using a different plugin...

Sorry, it was zipped, I was too lazy too unzip or look into, probably I just wanted to point out that its a big difference in size and not exactly what size.
But I didnt know just to replace the EVEstock..esp, propbably I am confused! you are right. :ahhh: ( I deleted them now, only stock with fcom esp, plus additional esps for Arm , Arti, etc. and the more revealing HGEC replacer :hubbahubba: )

thank you very much, Tomlong75210! you helped me again. dance:

If you mean delete as in delete the plugin from your data folder, fine; however, do not delete the plugin all together from the mod...You may want the stock plugin later.

...I am not this confused....

But I have another question, I am using the Moving briasts mod, and I replaced some kf`s with the one from the UFF FF00 Moving briast and Animations.
I saw at least one armor with animation due moving briasts, but definitely not the amazon armour.
Was this just randomly? I read, every armour type must be animated per se, but I just used this mods.

I seriously do not know what that question means. The Moving briasts mods usually replace the femaleupperbody.nif, not the KF files. I really do not know what you mean with those last two statements. I also do not understand why you are using UFF files with EVE.

http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=28235 is explaing why. I did, but copied only a few kf's,
and the armour itself was animated showing the briasts moving animation!
I just asked, because I wasnt sure if these EVE replacers may have those animation kf's already included,
because I do not know where else these kf's came from, as they must be there , why else is the armour animated??

The NIF files allow for the bouncing briast feature, and there is an HGEC version of the mod available. Just search "HGEC briasts" at TESNexus. There are plenty of options... Remove those KF files. I supposed KFs may be used to exaggerate characters' movements, increasing the "bounce" effect, but I would just get rid of those.

Edit: "HGEC moving" returns more results, and HGEC "Bounc" returns additional results as well.

Edit: After reading that description, it sounds as though the animations are used to do what I described. They help produce the effect. If you were going by those instructions, it looks like using those KFs are okay.
