If you upgrade the Securitrons, then New Vegas has the strongest army. There's an army's worth of Securitrons at Mr. House's/your command. They don't need training, food, water, or anything other than regular maintenance and electricity. Not to mention they don't shed blood meaning the concept of morale of the troops is out the window for them, also that fear is absent.

If House orders 300 Securitrons to march upon a heavily guarded fortress with no regard for loss, they'd do it and win. Why? They have missiles, SMG, Gatling Laser, and Grenade Launcher all in one package per Securitron. No human can switch between those weapons very effectively. Oh and the biggest problem for an opponent army. Securitrons can go day and night. So long as repairs and reinforcements are available, Securitron assaults can go for 24 hours, 7 days a week while human assaults have to rest.

So yeah...New Vegas can defend itself almost indefinitely from any attackers so long as the Securitron army is well kept.

Depends:

In terms of numbers: NCR.
In terms of training: The Legion.
If the securitron army is activated: House.
If they rallied together and ALL fragments combined: Brotherhood.
In terms of the people: FEZoNV

Vegas.

Not even for the quality per unit, the numbers or anything else special like that. It's really just the simple fact that Vegas can wage war for a looooooooooooooong ass time and never lose a single soul. Waging war against Vegas would be extremely disheartening and frustrating for any attacker, considering they're losing thousands of lives without actually damaging their enemies' morale, economy, health, quality of life or anything else. There's a LOT of Securitrons and they're self-repairing, so another faction would have to be pretty freaking devistating to overcome the Securitrons and make it to the actually people of Vegas. With the Legion vs. the NCR, the Legion can lose a battle and still take comfort in knowing they at least set the NCR back quite a bit, so a second battle will depend solely on which of them can recover quicker. This however just wouldn't happen with Vegas; you could lose and have practically nothing to show for it.

NCR due to their large numbers. If they can almost wipe out an entire garrison of BoS they can throw their numbers most anywhere and win.

I took cl, because NCR is written to look like a bunch of idiots. They can t even set up right to defend a dam and a river crossing, and they do not even attempt to drive cl out of Cottonwood Cove.

NCR may be stronger, but I believe a class of 1st graders are in control.

Bos- Not enough of them

Khans and fiends are radiers= weak

Securitrons have to be upgraded to stand a chance, and even when they are, they are huge targets that can be hit from extreme long distances. They can not navigate the turf humans can either. The Kings and Westside won t be much help.

The difference between BoS and Vegas is that BoS is a human faction while Securitrons are self repairing robots with no morale or fear. If NCR kills 100 Securitrons, doesn't matter, 300 will still attack with no regard for their own safety. Just keep attacking with all of their weaponry and it won't do a dent to Vegas' economy. You know the whole no retreat no surrender? Well Las Vegas is that phrase in a nutshell.

Those are all one burst kills, they are not solders, they are guards and wanna be cool guys. The only thing Vegas has are the securitrons if they are upgraded. It would be hard to take Vegas from them, but get them out in the desert, and they will be in deep [censored].

NCR is the Vegas economy.

"Why would I want to go with the NCR? They're my best customers."
- Mr. House

Remember, even if Vegas secures independence, Mr. House isn't going to kick out NCR, only Caesar's Legion. He will make sure NCR stays and enjoys the lights while they give up their money willingly. Unless they have 10 luck :P

I somewhat agree, they are guards, but I think House accounts them into his army as well and I bet House can get them better equipment then what they have. The families training wouldn't be up to par with the other factions, but I think they can make a good cannon fodder. I agree with your second statement though.

NCR has the potential to be the strongest. They've taken over Navarro. There are a ton of military bases with high tech equipment in NCR territory like the Glow, Mariposa, and Sierra Army Depot. They're neighbors with Vault City and San Francisco. If NCR actually devotes their resources to military research, it probably wouldn't take long for them to salvage and build enough high tech weapons to beat everyone else.

The Three families are probably more lore-worthy warriors than gameplay. I'm sure people would complain if they were going up against the equivalent of Legion veterans after being stripped of their gear.
Lore-wise, the Three Families were able to defeat the Great Khans, who, while not the best warriors in the world, are pretty damn decent. A Great Khan could at least take out an NCR trooper.

The three families can be useful as spies. Securitrons aren't going to be very good at infiltrating an NCR or Legion base and stealing intelligence from the enemy.

Neither are greasy-haired hipsters with a habit of saying "Ring-a-ding-ding!" :P
Remember Benny's attempt to infiltrate the Legion?

Still, my money's on the Securitrons. Vegas' military can't be demoralized, they can't be weakened by cutting off trade lines (they don't need food), they can be absolutely relentless with no worry of fatigue or needing sleep and they can be rebuilt and repaired. You'd need a LOT of impulse weaponry or expert snipers to even leave a dent in the army. With self-repairing Securitrons, all Mr. House has to do is send them in waves and have program them so the damaged ones fall back so that they have time to repair before sending them to the front lines again. Wave of securitrons, 6 missles fired by each, reload or fall back if damaged, rinse and repeat. Healing a human on the other hand, doesn't run like clockwork. The human can't be told exactly when he needs to back off, he needs an escort off the battlefield and his wounds may never heal.

And what's all this about "the NCR can build up and research a way to beat the Securitrons." And Mr. House can't? Is it just me or did Mr. House not seem like the biggest freaking genius in the entire game, and you think a society that's just now recovering old world technology (farming, power plants, vehicles) is going to out-tech a genius who founded RobCo, warded off atomic bombs and survived the Great War?

I agree, putting star wars reference in a fallout game is just getting worst and worst by the days. It was funny at first, I agree, but you don't see me spraying out Zerg lore out from me into this site, otherwise, I would make alot of people very mad, sad, and irritated.
