Hm, I'd say Fallout 3 ;) But, by what music do you mean? Radio or soundtrack?

I'm not sure if this thread belongs here, however.

Oh, and WELCOME TO THE FORUMS! Have a fishy stick!

Well it would be more interesting to pick FO3/NV music that was made specifically for the games themselves, not something taken from the real world 1940's. ;)

I liked all of the new content in NV but overall I liked post apocalyptic DC much better than NV.
I loved the disturbing, morbid, and 1940s crossed with the future style.
And I couldn't stand the music in NV. It was so erectile-vomit inducingly western.
Plus, who doesn't miss Three Dog?

Not me. Mr. New Vegas was a charm machine! Fallout 3 had more songs, good songs but New Vegas had songs that were just damn catchy. And Frank Sentara, that's a win in my book.

For me the best music is on NV though I would have preferred http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LZfItlZG97Q of "Big Iron"

But I loved the rest, really captured the mood of the location.

For the radio music, I can really only compare New Vegas and Fallout 3. FO1/2 didn't have in-game radios and each had only one IRL song.

So, for atmospheric, I rank it: NV, Fallout 2, Fallout 1, Fallout 3. Fallout 2 had all of Fallout 1's brilliant music and then some, and New Vegas had FO1/2's brilliant music and then some. That choice is easy. Fallout 3 had none of Mark Morgan's great music.

For non-atmospheric, I'd have to say New Vegas too. Only because of Dead Money's Begin Again and the song Bruce Isaacs sings. There is finally that some new music was being made instead of just listening to music that is over 100 years old by the time of the great war.
