Creativity? stiltstriders, guars, daedric ruins, Daedra, Telvani buildings versus.. versus.. Mountains and Real animals?
The closest things skyrim has too creative is.. well blackreach and the eye of magnus were ripped off of something else so.. uhm.. uhm..
That's your opinion. I disagree.
There is nothing quite as spectacular in any of the games I have seen in the series to match Solitude or the College of Winterhold. I stop and gaze up at them in awe everytime I see them. Skyrim's dungeons are breathtaking, each of them different and many of them have unique stories to tell.
Here are comparison screenshots of Azura's Shrine in Morrowind, Oblivion and Skyrim:

It doesn't show up well in the picture but Skyrim's version of the statue is
enormous. It is dramatic. It is high on a wind-swept peak, and the effect is awe-inspiring.
I thought Dardric Ruins were underwhelming, personally. Silt-Striders and Telvanni buildings were nice. They were creative. I'll grant that. But you seem to consider (and I apologize if I am misreading your post) the word "creative" to be synonymous with "strange" and unfamiliar." I absolutely disagree with that notion.
