Which "jobs" are you looking foward too?

Post » Sat Feb 19, 2011 5:52 am

When I read in GI that you could have "jobs" I wanted to ask the people of Skyrim what they would do. So, what do you do for a living?

I would play Skyrim for a living :P
If you mean Skyrim, which I think you do, I would be a beggar! Free stuff for making up stories!

I found it intersting in the podcast that Cooking was a seperate skill from Alchemy. I wouldn't mind making bread or sandwiches.

Protecting caravans. My battlemage is a caravaneer, paid to protect vulnerable merchants travelling between cities...

Not particularly glamorous, but you defend the defenceless, put bread on the table and sleep soundly at night :) A mercenary with morals and ideals if you will, as opposed to a thug-for-hire

D: The character type I am going for first isn′t the personality that takes jobs...

So I guess I have to look forward to those on my 2nd play-through or I need to decide upon a different personality type.

Blacksmith. Heavy hammer wielding Nord who is more of an artisan blacksmith than warrior is going to be fun to RP.

Should stick jobs in the legal system, resist arrest, pay a fine, go to jail, or spend a day doing mindless Fablesque wood cutting.

The "job" I'm most looking forward to in Skyrim is killing enemies and looting their corpses... and making poisons.
