Which mmo will you drop to play eso?

Post » Sun Feb 23, 2014 4:34 am

I haven't had the time to play Lord of the Rings Online much in the past 6-8 months, but as my play time increases again, if TESO hits the mark then Lotro will just be one I hop into from time to time.

Luckily, I got a lifetime sub there around launch so I have full access to everything without any type of sub, which is fantastic.

Not playing an mmo at the moment. I'll play WoW and LOTRO ever so often, but ESO is taking up 98% of my gaming mind and its not even released yet.

I'm currently playing GW2, will continue to play during TESO, and will probably play after TESO as well. GW2 is just too good to drop honestly, not to mention no freaking sub fee.

I'll probably drop TESO after several months, only coming back to it when it inevitably goes F2P sometime within it's first year.

None. keeping EQ2 as my main MMO for raiding with guild, etc. Been playing it for 10 years. We only raid twice a week though, ESO is gonna be for other stuff.

Dropping GW2. It's still ok but as I mainly do WvWvW, it became extremely repetetive.

Well now aren't you a downer...

I like Guild wars too I think it's a good quality game. That said I hate the idea of getting loot chests and having to buy the black lion keys. That blatant money grab is over the line for me.

All of them. In the last 2 months I've gone back to GW2, Rift, WoW, Aion, world of Tanks, Path of Exile, and I've tried a few smaller market MMOs. After playing several ESO betas, I'm thoroughly hooked and its the only game I can stay focused on.

Everything else is just....meh

Cyba - AT LEAST they had an Oceanic server and people could have went to it and populated it. You wont even get that courtesy in TESO.

I will not drop SWTOR for this game. I will most likely play both equally.

Glad to see I'm not the only one watching WoD like a hawk. Man I hope that game pans out.

I'm not currently playing any mmos. I'm just waiting for eso

Well, TESO will be my first MMO to actually play but I did downloaded DC Universe Online just to get the basic feel for an MMO and I only play DC Universe Online for a few days and got bored of it...

Going to be dropping a game called Reality for a while. It's not really an MMOnline game, but the community is huge, larger than any MMO I've ever played... and more annoying. Reality kinda svcks and the sub fees are unbelievably high, and it has a cash shop and a pay-2-win mode if you can afford it. Takes forever to level up as well. I'll be glad to step away from that game for a while to play ESO. Of course since I'm already forced to pay for a Reality account I'll drop in from time to time, mostly to use the in-game store for food buffs and keep up my dues payments to all the power hungry guilds the game makes you join, like Mortgage and Electirc Company. As I mentioned, the community is horrible, but it's almost impossible to ignore them since the whole game is forced on you once you join. ESO will be time well spent away from that game, I can't wait until it's release.

None. I'm a rabid GW2 fan and I'm not leaving it. Sure, I will not play as much as I do now, but no way I am leaving now that they just nuked the main city.

None, I'm afraid. TESO is great and all but I'm only playing it until wow's expansion cause wow is dead content-wise right now - nothing to do but farm Garbosh atm. I don't see myself dropping wow for eso, at least not really.

I stopped playing Rift in August and stopped paying for it in September. A friend keeps wanting me to play it, but after playing ESO in beta, there's no way I can go back to managing six skill bars, countless macros and reoptimizing my characters after every patch.
