Which mod was this quest from?

Out of the blue I started thinking about a quest I encountered in Morrowind, oh years ago now. Like last computer back as I never got Morrowind up and running to my satisfaction with mods on this one (someday... which is why I settled for Skyrim again recently). As it's been a while this may sound a bit vague, but I always wondered where this came from; at the time I googled and got no relevant hits concerning specific items/NPCs involved, so I figured it had to have been one of my over a hundred mods I had installed at the time.

Anyway, this quest takes place in Raven Rock once the questline is completed with the town surviving. People are disappearing in the town and you are tasked with finding out what is going on. One of the clues involves you clicking a big rock to look under it (which then disappears as if console disabled; struck me as fancy for Morrowind, so was memorable) and you eventually follow the breadcrumbs to the basemant beneath a watch tower... and inside is a goblin type creature. You can talk to him and he tells you its a misunderstanding and he is really there to meet the town and form an alliance and offers you an amazing looking amulet to leave him alone (15 hp/mana/stamina regen a second!), but then once you step outside you can no longer enter the room as a pop-up says it is now barricaded from the inside. If you wear the amulet you find it has a death curse on it that hits after so long (pop-ups to give you a count down included) and an NPC desperately tries to get it off you to undo the curse but you have the option of refusing out of greed for the enchantment... and that's all I remember. No idea how it ends from there.

At the time I thought it may have been related to the amazing Castle Solstheim house mod, but that was mostly just a guess. Does this sound familiar to anyone? Can you tell me what it's from and how it actually ends? I'm really curious to know if this is a thing or if I had some sort of vivid Morrowind overload induced dream in the past that I now accept as memory... Morrowind memories. Good times.

I've never come across a quest mod like this, but if it exists, I would like to play it. It sounds really cool.
